When you bringing up the total sales of ps2 at about 130mil, then you have to factor in the Wii and how it's taking a huge chuck of former ps2 owners.
In every gen kids make a huge impact, and this gen many choose the Wii. You can't possibly believe that at 50+ sales for the Wii have been made by new target audience or dual console owners?

the best selling exclusive this season can only be found on the 360 (halo) and then there is the best selling multiplat that will sell more, as usual, on the 360 (mw2)......and then there is the exclusive dlc to the highest rated and best selling game this gen, gta4,.......only on 360
So all the kiddies are going to want to play those games with their other buddies that already have a 360.

you'd have to be stupid to buy a 360 now.
Only reasons I see people still choosing a 360 this season over a ps3;
1. Their buddies have 360's
2. Halo and Gears
I really hope that the price does get dropped down to $299 and has a 160gb HD and has full BC.
I'd like to see how ms will respond to that.

anyways... I completele agree.... when the game trailer fisrt started, I was thinking to myself that I wish they would show in game footage because i know the game isn't going to loo this good when it's running... but then the action started and I was like wow!

The DLC is here, and it's more than worth 20 bucks! and it's only on the 360.... accept it.
So all those sonyfans that kept on saying months ago that the DLC will probably be new clothes or a couple new missions have ALL been proven wrong,
yeah, i just got this game this week and it definitely rocks.
i only played the campaign so far with 3 other buddies and i'm loving it.
they need to keep the prices down, because prices of new release blu-ray movies are like 20-30 bucks, you add a game in there too and people could be looking to close to a 100 bucks with the tax.
If it's like that, then it would be a very bad move. IMO
but if the raise the price like only 10 bucks more, and you get the movie and game on one blu-ray disc for $69, then that would be awesome.
gotta give it to Sony for delivering a game that is living up to the hype.

I thought the gameplay and graphics in the demo were solid.
I loved F.E.A.R. on my PC, and i'm looking forward to part 2 on my 360.

we can only hope that this outbreak of the majority of people complaining about the controls will push the developers to at least give the option to change the controls so it can play like Dead Space
Dead Space and Re5 are same type of game. survival horror TPS.
And if Re4 (one of my fav games of all time) can make a huge jump as far as controls compared to the previous RE games, then why couldn't Re5?
No matter how you want to look at it, if you did play Dead Space, you just can't help but wish that Re5 had the same controls.
