Ok, I just got the impression from your post, that you were concerned about the money spent on the advertisement. Wether or not the advert would pay itself by selling PS3's... Hence my reply and subsequent statement on advertisement expenses... :P

Talking from a personal perspective, I rarely touch the +/- bubble vote... The reason being, that I was under the impression, it ultimately depended upon an admin deciding to follow the suggestions of votes to either bubble someone up or down.
So in the end, it really is up to the admins preferences... But I might be wrong?!
Please feel free to say your thoughts about "this horrible Sony" by using reasoning... If the reasons are sound, I'm sure people will engage in a discussion (possibly even agreeing with you)...

There are many possibilities, why there seem to be an abundance of "sony fanboys", I'll try to mention 2.
1: They are >just< born that way -- no reason ...
My view is, that no one really expect much from MS.
Whereas people expect much more from Sony, and if Sony doesn't deliver A grade performance on stage many will probably be disappointed...
That's just my theory on why MS 'gets a free pass'

Well, when I play Guitar Hero or RockBand I know that it's not a real guitar... The reason I like playing it, is partly because of the music and because of the simplicity (trying to hit the nodes). Heck I even had fun playing the demo of Parappa the rapper on ps2
It seems to me that most of those who are annoyed by the games GH or RB or similar games, are people who somehow feel threatened by the games.

Also I want to add, that I think the game saves are saved on the cloud storage up to 6 months after PS+ subscription expires... Not being immediately deleted after the subscription ends.
- The >free< games get unavailable until subscription is renewed.
- The games you buy, are yours, even after subscription ends. (This includes discounted games).
- The free themes/avatars are yours to keep, even after subscription ends.

We could try to pursuit the idea of complete balance, where there were equal amounts of each 'fans'. Then upon registering the N4G should allocate e.g. 300 users to xbox and 300 to ps3 and so on... i don't think it would work.
