By signing Xbox Live's terms and conditions you are effectivly giving them the permission, sad but true read the small print.
"There isn't a single PS4 exclusive that looks as good as Ryse or Forza. The cherry on top, Dead Rising 3"
Err Killzone SF says ello!
Without online functions this game is worthless so no point in pirating it.
The gears trilogy was good and although buggy the multiplayer was great addictive fun.
If it returns then I think itwould be multiplatform unless MS start splashing the cash.
Just not enough time for all this goodness!
Also Titan fall will require EA's Origin to work online so It won't be on steam.
About MS getting money regardless, well I suppose people can pirate windows so MS gets $0.
For anyone interested the TV in the vid seems to be this one:
http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/n...
There is also a 32' version that seems to be the TV with the lowest input lag of 2013 so it's great for games.
Yeah it's a bit out of order considering many cheap TV's allow media playback through USB, Divx/mp3's etc.
Cod On PS3/360 is 540p scaled to 720p for example.
If you want Fable, Forza, Halo, Kinect and timed (payed for) exclusives choose MS.
If you want REAL exclusives from 1st party devs with a focus mainly on games that would be supported for longer and Naughty Dog choose Sony.
For me it's simple as the only console to have GT, Killzone, Team Ico, GOW, Uncharted/TLOU will be from Sony and that's enough for me to make it essential.
When it comes to many 3rd party titles the PS4/XB1 will be essentially getting ports of the PC code. So whichever console has the most raw power and is easy the dev on will probably get the better version.
So take Watchdogs:
PC>PS4>XB1>WiiU simples.
This does not bode well for the Xbone, we have all seen how basic COD ghosts looks yet it cannot run at 1080@60fps.
You could almost forgive it for the BF4 specs as frostbite 3 is next gen but the COD engine certainly is not.
All the money MS has and they have penny pinched the GPU/CPU in favour of Kinect and buying the exclusivity of third party titles.
So glad I cancelled my Xbone pre order and kept the PS4.
Having to stream games and your own music from the same HDD would create disc head seeking problems (stutter/lag).
And no you will not be able to play the game without the bluray in the disc drive.
If the PS4 blurays are 50Gb and we need 45Gb for killzone then this is almost the same as a full install, If you delete the 45gb cache then the next time you want to play the game it would copy the files to your Hard drive again.
Sounds very similar the what the Xbone does, if you dont have 45gb free on your hardrive the no game play for you.
This is basically a mandatory full install, unless I see a PS4 game that is 40+gb in size but only needs <10gb cach...
The answer is sales. And it's not like they would sell us only MP for half price is it.
True AA is the the frame killer, I chose a 4GB 670 over the 680 for the reason you have stated.
I've just played some of the SP (GTX670/ i7-4770k/ 16GB ram) and it runs just as well as BF3 in Ultra.
You can't judge the performance based on the beta as even Titan owners were getting low framerates.
The PS4 version looks good but cannot compete with PC obviously, you get what you pay for.
The most annoying thing for me about the PS4 version is that it does not run at a locked 60fps, the Eurogamer vid shows it dropping to 46Fps in MP.
I'm torn between the performance of the PC Vs the comfort/ease of the PS4 for multiplayer.
Sony stated no DRm on PS4's 4 months ago so why would the consoles have DRM in the firmware at launch? It make no sense just like the COD resolution statement.
UT4/Gears 4 would be great 60fps@1080p dedicated servers and sh1t loads of classic maps thrown in for free.
