Like you said yourself...Sony said the same or better...if a developer fucked it up and put high resolution and more effects before framerate it's clearly not the way intended. They should lower the resolution in that case.

No, you're getting a way more powerful system for essentially the same price as the way slower other systems. Not even talking about PSVR, 4K and HDR and therefore being future proof. One would actually be pretty ignorant to deny those clear benefits.

I played the game...I had good fun and it wasn't nauseating at all for me.
The problem is people who actually bought it state otherwise. Everybody who has seen the games performing and looking substantially better, even on 1080p screens, wants to buy one.
