They made it possible on the first game (60fps on PS4, 30fps on XB1) but I highly doubt they will be able to optimise it that much.
It would be very impressive if they did...at least they have got quite some time left to try it, considering it really comes out in fall, which I still kinda doubt.

No one doubts a slight benefit from DX12 on X1. It's just a fact it mainly benefits PCs, as stated again in that article, and that the PS4s API is developed further as well, which makes it just as laughable when people think DX12 will suddenly close the performance gap.

It still looks blurry in comparison to the PC version and the reason is exactly what decrypt mentioned. The used AA method called FXAA. It does the same on PC but luckily there are better options.

Actually the game doesn't look much different. This 4K video is not a good example imho since there is no fog or smoke present. Looks way too clean.
That 1080p60fps video posted a few hours ago does do it justice much more.
How can you be stuck in this game?! Just move on to another puzzle...the game is made that you learn over time and probably will be able to solve the puzzle later.
