Even though this hasn't been released in the States, I think it will be a decent RPG. The fight system looks pretty cool, along with the world it's in, and I bet the music will be awesome too:) It's about time M$ has some Japanesse RPGs!! YAY

I completely understand your over-protectiveness of the FF series. Money can be a bad thing and at times because of it good traditions are thrown out of the window. I know you guys are fanboys and that's okay...it's good to be passionate about the things you really like and I understand that you want the PS3 to do well in the market and the FF series can help the PS3 out in that department. You just don't have to call people turds that disagree. On the other hand - why not try a 360 or so...
Do you read any gamer news?? Everyone knows the PS3 has more power than the 360, that's old news. The thing is, if you look at the numbers it doesn't matter. PS3s aren't selling well anywhere in the world. Sometimes with my PS3 I feel like I've got this awesome rocketship but, no fuel for it:( Sorry, I just get a little pissed about spending the money to get the PS3 and I end up playing my 360 a lot more. I'm not sure how anyone has disagreed with what you said. The PS2 wasn't the highest powered hardware and it led the hell out of the market. That was a time where Sony fanboys would always say "It's not the graphics that make the game, it's the storyline and game play" Now it seems that since the PS3 is the horsepower leader this time around the tune of fanboys has seriously changed. The funny thing is - the Wii hardly has any horsepower and people are buying them like hot cakes...
It's not like Halo 3 not being on the most wanted list in Japan is a big suprise. Japanesse gamers love Japan made RPGs, just look at the list. Half of the games in the top 20 are RPGs.
Halo is geared more toward western gamers - come on, we all know that;)
If there is an issue with kids playing violent games the issue is with the parents! Not the game makers! If parents took the time to educate themselves on their own kids interests/hobbies (instead of being lazy), then this wouldn't be an issue. Does anyone else agree with me?
How can anyone disagree with me when I'm only stating what Peter Moore at last year's E3 told everyone that M$ had entered into a deal to get "exclusive" downloadable contact in GTA4.
Plus, if I choose to buy the 360 version of the game for that content or if I chose to pay for it (if there is a fee - no one knows as of yet) then that is my choice. I not sure about anyone else but, I love unlocking achievements for bragging rights.
Also, the deal is; why should I wait...
I'm sure the 360 will pull way ahead of the PS3 when games like Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Mass Effect, Bio Shock, Eternal Sonata, and Halo 3 exclusives hit the street! Without a price drop, I'm not sure how the PS3 will get to the masses. However, I know I'll be broke because I'm getting all those exclusive 360 games and the PS3 games Heavenly Sword and Liar. Could I barrow a few buck from anyone;)
Rockstar did admit that the were making downloable content for both and also said that they were making more "exclusive" downloadable content for the 360. So, I think I'll just get the 360 version - hey, gotta get the achievement points:)

Doesn't look like anything special but, I'll get it anyway. With screen shots - you never can tell. They still have a few months to polish it up a little bit too. Graphics don't mean everything (even though it's an added bonus) - it's all about the game play. Time will tell:)
I'm sure both Sony and M$ are thinking of price drops within the next year! Once the current price point hits it's critical mass, they'll drop prices to go after that good ole' "casual gamer".

SDS Gamerfiend you're right too - We do need more games! Especially when they're already talking about the release date of Heavenly Sword being pushed back until September:( I just hope Sony's E3 presentation isn't filled with CGI movies that people think are in-game, real time game play. I just hope after E3, I'll be in a state of awe!
