Those numbers for the PSP are still impressive:) Who gives a damn if on any given week a console or handheld sells 3k less in an entire nation!

I've never played this series but, holy hell -- it looks action packed! I think I'm going to give this one a try!!!!
I don't think these issues suprises anyone!! We all knew that next-gen games would get bigger and you can compress the hell out of something but, the simple fact is the 360 (only 2 years in it's life) has already seen a multi-disk game.
We knew that sooner or later the PS3 would have RAM issues. Not that it doesn't have enough but, it's built a little differently than the 360s and it doesn't give developers as much to work with.
No system is perfect and they'll be pros and con...

I don't think anyone expected it to even be #1 for a single week. What's even more of a suprise is the fact that the only PS3 game on that list is an American made game (Oblivian). The PS2 and PSP are doing very nice though:)
Anytime anyone makes a product more affordable for the masses, it will make a difference. The real question is how much of a difference? Do I think SONY will over take the 360 or Wii during the months of November and December -- NO! I do thinks it's a great step in the right direction. We all have to realize that a lot of gamers are young kids as young as 12 or hell even 9 and to get a price point that allows parents to feel comfortable about their purchases is important. Looking at the NPD numbers yesterday on software & hardward, you'd see that we (yes, I own a PS3 as well) PS3 owners software purchases aren't even close to those of the Wii and 360. Now if I'm a developer, why in the hell would I want to make a PS3 exclusive? Why would anyone turn down profits to be loyal to a company that desinged a system without developers in mind? You shouldn't just base the success of the next-gen console race on the install base of last-gen. The PS2 was and still is purchased for numerous reasons and a lot of them aren't based on fanboyism or loyalty. Economically, for a parent or gamer, it's a great choice. When CAPCOM made the statement about concentrating on the PS3 for 2008 -- they said that in reference to PS2 development. Meaning, shifting development resources away from the PS2 and concentrating on the PS3. They were not implying that they were moving away from 360 development. They want to only focus on next-gen development;)
Most people who own a PS3 (including me), knew that 2008 would be a key year for SONY! I really hope my investment in the system and the wait pays off!!!! The Wii and 360 are performing very well for 2007 and I've enjoyed playing games on all three but, right now -- I'd say my 360 is getting most of my attention;)
Looking at this chart - PS3 Software sales aren't doing so hot when compared to the Wii and 360 in North America. Halo 3 has done pretty well though.

Who gives a damn if one picture has one additional tree in the screen shot. They both look nice and if there is a difference, it's not a night and day difference. Put it this way, if you have a PS3 you'll enjoy GT and you have a 360 play Forza. If you have both -- play Forza now and GT6 later.
It's stange how fanboys with 2 bubbles that normally don't make a bit of sense are now getting 23 agrees and 2 disagrees. You guys kill me:)
