We all know the PS3 in a complicated piece of hardware and people just aren't as familiar with it as other platforms. At least they gave it a shot. I'll get the 360 version this time but, EA better not mess up again...lol;)
Downloaded the demo and it's awesome! I've noticed that the only people that said anything bad about this game happen to be Sony fanboys who haven't played it and are upset that Lair got horrible reviews;) bioshock FTW!!

There have been tons of "the console war heats up" stories. The real fact is - I hope they all win because in the end, us gamers will come out on top! Now is a great time to be a gamer, hell - I bought all 3:)

a comment I made a long time ago stated that the 360 was the only one that would get exclusive content and I had like 10 people disagree with my comment and i was only stating what Peter Moore had said. It feels pretty good to be right sometimes. Either way, everyone will enjoy this long awaited addition to the series. I'll get a copy for my 360 and PS3 just because I can;) A Wii version would be cool too...could you imagine pimp smackin' someone in the game with the wiimote...lol!!
and it's expected. Everyone knew that as soon as a price drop came, the demand would temporary go up; now let's see if they can sustain good sales for the rest of the year (fingers crossed).

I think it was more about attitude. The Sony folks had an up-beat and humble presence. I actually think it's good that Sony's in 3rd place in the consoles wars as of now. Not being the "top dog" has forced them to connect with gamers on an entirely differently level than before. It has forced them to not mislead the gamer using the smoke and mirror approach (prerendered CGI movies pawned off as real-time game play) - they are becoming real people that care now or atleast it seem...
The PS3 shouldn't be counted as a Blu Ray player! That would mean that all PS2's, all Xbox's & 360s, and all PCs with a DVD drive would be considered DVD players. These are all consumer electronic devices with other purposes that happen to have a DVD playback feature and aren't necessarily "DVD Players". The numbers really start to get skewed when you incorporate everything with a DVD drive or playback capability. Then what, do computer people count the PS3 as a computer bec...
Developers have to make money too. What, do fanboys think a company is going to go under to remain loyal to another company that will remain in business after the developers demise! NO!! If the PS3 install base isn't large enough for them to make a profit why would anyone think they would be willing to take a massive loss to remain true to anyone. A business must make a profit - that's the simple fact.
I'll still buy this game. With the amount of people involved in makeing this game with a massive budget, it just doesn't give me that "jaw dropping" factor. Fanboys will disagree with me but, it's just MY opinion! I bet anyone 1 million bucks that the game will look a lot better than this screen shot when it's released.
Looks like I'll be purchasing the 360 version!

10,000 units isn't that much but, it's a HUGE accomplishment for Sony if you look at all the other figures and see what it actually means in comparison to the competion and it's previous systems. Good Job Sony, that Brand Name in Portugal is really doing well. Good news to here!!

The PSP and PS2 are totally different systems! You don't need to trash talk because you don't understand what's going on. Numbers are numbers and if xbots added the numbers, they would come out differently and if Sony fanboys did the same calculations, I'm sure they'd come out with different numbers as well. That's why I take all these "online order" numbers with a grain of salt and spend more time playing my PSWii60 games instead of over analyzing stupid numbers;);)
