Yeah you're both probably right.
Forgive me, but I'm in a very bad spot, emotionally, and I just have to verbally flog you. The fact that you have so many bubbles astounds me and quite frankly, proves that we, in fact, live in a simulation. Humanity couldn't both survive this long AND support comments like the one you just made.
You're splitting hairs at the atomic level and I hold such hostility, deep down in the darkest corners of my heart for you because of it. Its almost as if I can hear the...
@sullynathan Agreed. I'd love to see that type of realism in this game. It would slow the pacing, but your decisions would really mean something. Quick thinking and proper tactical movement would be much more rewarding.
Question:
How does one's interest in the game expire because of a longer wait time? What game fills the void in The Divisions stead? I've seen a lot of posts stating that the commenter has "lost interest because ubisoft should have announced the game closer to launch" or something along those lines. Not sure how time affects this.
@sullynathan
The game is an RPG along the lines of destiny/borderlands. I get what @thatoneguy is saying. In an RPG, getting killed with a single shot in this format isn't the norm. My point is that it's realism is lost in this mechanic.
Great point. Although I still stand by my comment in the games realism. Diablo 3 had hardcore mode and that made the game for me. I like the idea of "raised stakes".
It looked to me like you could just come out of cover, take some bullets and kill the guy nearest you. That takes away from the tactical possibilities for me. Remember R6V2? There was absolutely no way you could play that way.
I realize this commentary continues without my having even played the game, bu...
I like what I see, but the "run and gun" element kinda bothers me. Taking multiple gunshots takes away from the realism. I hope realistic settings can be set.
Edit:
I don't know if it's just a control issue, but whoever was playing seems really bad at this game. I used to play terrorist hunt in rainbow 6 vegas 2 and would tear apart the map by myself, regularly. This gameplay seems a lot like that game.
Has NHL, NFL and the MLB lost their relevancy? No. They're all sports. Sure 2015's version of NHL is different from 2014's but it's still hockey. Call of Duty, hate it or not, is an esport title. Has it had its day? Ask the millions of people who bought it. How do you want to change the core of the FPS arena shooter? Should Treyarch just change the title? Add cell shading? Should we throw out the entire genre?
You know what? I'm sick of Madden. Let's t...
Tusk, tusk hardcover gamer
Not to be argumentative, but my love for this game forced me to disagree with your statement in that I feel like a sequel and a third game should and could have been made by now. A remaster is the last thing I want them working on. This game did extremely well.... why not continue on?!!!
Sure, one could list the many projects theyve worked on since and argue that theyre still doing great work, but thn I'd have to find something else to stomp my foot about ;)
Google 'Magic Leap'
They are definitely touching it. I would imagine they're seeing the complaints about the Hololens and it's minimal field of view and improving on it. I can't wait to see what they've come up with.
This is something that I would watch on twitch. You could broadcast the races and get a ton of viewers. Anyone who raced would have to be legit (no fucking money glitches) so that gamers would know what was at stake. I love this idea.
Dave Chapelle would disagree....
Got a refund for this game on xbox one. Devs have made an open apology for its broke-assedness on both Xbox and PS4 and have stated that they want the game repaired by the end of the year.
Are you Shitting me?!
How did this game even get past certification on console?
Don't get this game.
I got a refund for this broken-ass game from xbox live. What a fucking disaster.
Noone excited for Hyperlight Drifter? I'm pretty jacked for it.
Gimme that link to the past feeling again
But...... isn't earning the caps part of the journey? Isn't using the glitch just taking away from your experience? I guess people can do whatever the hell they want, but I'll never use the glitch. There's something to he said about seeing something you can't afford and working for it. In-game as well as IRL
I just watched a commercial. On purpose.
I just avoid the articles.
Like I avoid this one.
How about this headline?
"Cupcakes ruining fat people's lives. Stop the baking!"
This should of (or have?) been written a particularly angry shade of red crayon.
