Shit. Accidentally disagreed with you.
The beauty part is that you got 40 hours of gameplay and haven't even scratched the surface of abilities. Imagine the changes in the encounters you and your friends will have when all of those abilities are unlocked. Turrets, seeker mines etc.
I am so fucking jacked for this game.
I haven't event touched the game yet.
So far, a ton of bugs have been fixed and it's been graphically improved. Now the DLC will drop, a ton of people will buy it and I'll continue to wait..... like a money-saving troll. 6 more months and I should have a decent priced and optimized experience.
When you say "flop" ..... what do you mean?
@Jackbimble
Ummmmmm. There's supposed to be a point BESIDES?! Shoot I need to go over the comments rules again.
Was i really Nitpicking or just making a solid counterpoint? Destiny and Division are in fact quite similar games. Maybe I should have been more clear? I thought I was being quite obtuse in my obvious comparisons.
Speak for yourself. I love the 3rd person view in this game. From a tactical standpoint its downright necessary.
I was interested in the trailer until I read the two prior comments.
I didn't find any "grind" during my time with the game and I capped both levels. I'm sure the grind will show up but much later on toward end game
In the first sentence of your posting you say the games are nothing alike and in the last sentence you say they share some similarities.
Yeah they're different games. If you had to compare the division, which game would YOU compare it to? The game would have to;
Have a leveling system
Upgradeable weapons accessible through leveling
Regular, elite, and legendary weapons
PVE and pvp modes
PVE end bosses
Raids
Did someone up there complain about time played vs time enjoyed playing?
So you hate-played Destiny?
That is such a funny concept to me. It's a metaphor that one could hold philosophical debates over.
Gamingbolt is awful. Genuinely wanted to read this article but the pages are so annoying
I can't.
Video games are ruined for me now!
Second video today with awful gamer on the trolley. First was quantum break. Get it to-fucking-gether!!
Which game were you. ....
I don't even. ......
Wut
Oh good!!
I was beginning to think the tide of Petty Ocean wouldn't come in!
So steam pipes exist. Great! I'm missing the part of the article that mentions Chicago's hackable steam pipes though.
Why do I even bother?
For a chuckle, thats why.
No hackable underground steam pipes please.
Steam pipes? Really? All over Chicago? Is there a ton of steam that needs distribution in Chicago? Is it a lack of steam or is there an overabundance that needs to be shipped out?
"We can't just release the steam in central Chicago.... that would cause Seattle-esque levels of rainfall so we've decided to distribute the steam out of town....cutting edge technology we're working with.... digitally ope...
Meh. Between the awful gamer behind the controller and the rinse repeat nature of the gameplay.
Meh
All they've done is open the door for the competition to take the throne. Love it or hate it, you can't argue with the numbers Destiny put up in its prime(s). Ubisoft only has to avoid the same missteps that Bungie made in order to have a seat, in my opinion. The more time passes, the more wagon-jumping devs will show up with games of the same equations, taking up space at the shooter/rpg table.
And all of them have the Destiny map of where not to go.
I've literally taken February off of gaming. I'll be back March 8th for Division.
Isn't this what Bungie/Activision deserve though? Don't they deserve a giant fail? Frankly I'm surprised it took this long. They've been surfing the cresting wave of failure since day one. Financial failure? Not even close. The failure is in their reputation and integrity.
Bungie and Activision didn't team up with a not for profit objective. You think that without the micros they were just breaking even? They made a metric fuckton of money. Finance isn't the issue here. The inner workings at bungie need to get unfucked and we've seen the wheels start turning on that front with the changing of the boss routine that Bungie underwent not long ago.
We need more micro transactions.
What a fucking joke. I don't give...
