Nintendo sold 14 mln Wii during 9 month. It is official
Nintendo sold 17 mln Wii during 12 month.
And 113 mln games according to the reports.
MS sold about 7 mln XBOX + 50 mln games(attach rate 7) + some money from online service.
Graphics and control for DS are also absolutely different from 360/PS3 versions. But for DS development does not hold. Why? Because DS is proven platform for third-party developers. And Wii is not.

It seems that most of the people(including brave analysts, top chairmen, hardcore nerds, kids ) still do not understand why Wii is successful and will stay successful if Sony and MS do not decide to compete with Wii really. Wii proposes Real fun based Excellent gameplay. Nothing more: just Fun@Gameplay. Even semi-trashy "Wii sports" beats literally every PS3 games as source of fun 9 times out of 10.
