Metal Gear is not a good example. Open World Games like The Witcher 3, The Elder Scrolls Saga, Fallout, Borderlands and many other proof that characters can be written very well into Open World Games.

That would be awesome. I mostly watch netflix on my laptop while gaming of course only by non-story driven games or when i replay for trophy's or achievements.

First i was going in full stealth no casualties.. but then i started to execute them one by one if they would not fit my base and then after developing a certain something i was fully overt in blood. Since then i've been trying to get back to normal but nothing seems to help. I already S ranked most of the missions and got so many hero points that i don't know what to do anymore ^^
I wonder if there really is a way back to normal.
Remedy has always delivered in my eyes so i'm pretty optimistic about this game. I hope they don't fail with the TV-Show part. They already took a few steps back from their original idea at least it seems like that to me but i also think that MS would not let them deliver a shattered experience.
Could be really funny to see drake as a father. Either he fails hard at it and lets his son slide into some kind of adventure or he brings chaos again over his family and then his son has to handle the mess. ^^
