Agreed, and there's a possibility we'll get Beyond Good and Evil 2 + Prince of Persia at Gamescom.
Watch_Dogs, The Crew, and The Division all look pretty damn amazing.
I'm done with Resident Evil. If The Evil Within lives up to the hype, it will bury Resident Evil in the trash pile it stands on.
Ubisoft are destroying EA right now.
The Last of Us = next-gen tier on a current-gen console.
Naughty Dog's PS4 games are going to destroy us.
Mine an idiot? Oh the irony.
^ The Wii U should be $200 too. There's a reason so many developers are riding that PS4 train, by the way- it's the easiest console to develop for, with the most and fastest RAM available. Mark Cerny may have been the lead architect for the PS4 but the PS4 hardware was created based on the requests of John Carmack, Ubisoft, DICE, Crytek, etc, as well as Sony's own 1st parties. So unless these ports you speak of are intentionally made to run worse due to Microsoft moneyhatting, the...
$500 for a console half as powerful as the PS4 isn't worth it. Drop it to $200 and I'll buy it.
$500 for half of PS4's specs.
Even if it weren't for the PS4's vastly superior hardware, it would be PS4's advantage due to the fact that Sony owns ALL their exclusives. Sony have Naughty Dog, Guerrilla, Sucker Punch, Team ICO, Polyphony Digital, Media Molecule, Santa Monica, Evolution, Quantic Dream, and others on their side. Next they're going to acquire Ready At Dawn. Who does Microsoft have? 343? That studio was created for Halo, so expect a lot more Halo.
Titanfall and Dead Rising be...
The number will probably be greater than 5 too.
People need to realize something- and it is that regardless of how many games Sony decides to show at E3, Sony will ALWAYS have more exclusives, which belong to them 100%.
Example, Titanfall and Dead Rising belong to EA and Capcom, not Microsoft, thus Microsoft is paying millions upon millions for temporary 3rd party exclusives. Microsoft had to show SOMETHING at E3 after years of showing nothing.
There's profit and then there's greed. Microsoft only cares about making money, nothing more. Keep trying to justify that $100 extra.
Jonathan Blow already said The Witness would max out the Xbox One as it's already asking for 5GB. Now we see The Sorcerer uses 4GB of GDDR5. Killzone: Shadow Fall uses 3GB.
The Sorcerer couldn't even be done on Xbox One. The truth is that this gen is asking for a lot more memory. Memory Xbox One doesn't have available.
Only a matter of (not much) time before Xbox One is maxed out. No wonder they had to have those E3 games running on PC.
$100 more for Xbox One, and the PS4 has far more powerful specs. I wonder how many people can justify their purchase.
There's nothing Sony couldn't implement into the PS4 at any given time.
Honestly, this would be too much for anyone to handle. Sony Santa Monica has two games in progress. One's from Stig (GOW3 director), another from a separate team. They're also helping with The Order.
Cool, another zombie bash game. Wtf is this, iOS?
Make a new IP, Capcom.
PS3 outsold the 360 worldwide and won the most GOTY awards. History will just repeat itself with PlatStation time and time again.
PS4 wins in every category. Wait until the rest of Sony's 1st parties announce their PS4 stuff. This week alone we've seen developers that Sony doesn't even own come out and flat out tell the DS4 is better.
It is pretty funny that Sony, a Japanese company, supports our troops more than Microsoft, an American corporation. So much for "patriotism."
Microsoft needs to leave the gaming industry and never come back. They've done nothing but damage it.
And yet it will release months later on PS4 with better graphics. Go figure.
TitanFall is temporarily on Xbox One because Microsoft has no 1st party developers and they paid for it.
With the PS4's vastly superior specs, only an idiot would believe Respawn. It's pathetic that they'd even agree to repeat what Microsoft asked them to say.
Still would. It's just a pretty butterfly on her face.
