Considering the scale and graphics, I'm shocked it's even doing 720p native on current gen. But hey, PS3 as lead platform has its perks.
Xbox Done
They're shipping it with Kinect for obvious shady reasons.
That would mean rebooting the Xbox One entirely so the specs are actually good enough. "Cloud powerz" is out of the question. I guess Chris Roberts didn't get a paycheck.
Even with the two vids looking blurry and compressed to hell it's still gorgeous. How the hell is this free? The improvements they've made since the E3 are crazy, and if you read here, it'll look even better at release, especially seeing it on our HDTVs. https://www.facebook.com/ph...
Or Castlevania with guns.
It's hard to describe the game. We know it'll have a cover system like Uncharted with over the shoulder camera (like RE4), a very old, dark setting with monsters, extremely advanced physics engine, and plenty of weapon variety.
Not sure where Ratchet & Clank comes in, lol.
People's expectations are way too high, even at launch. Were people honestly expecting The Crew, probably the most massive open world driving game ever made, to run at 60fps?
It's why I let gaming websites do the work for me. There are way too many games on the AppStore, most of which are pure trash.
Best lighting, best textures, in any console game ever made. Makes TitanFall look like a PS2 Source engine game. Somebody should do a side by side in-game screenshot comparison for some serious laughs. Just go ahead and compare lighting and textures. TitanFall looks no different than COD: Ghosts.
Even Battlefield 4 looks dated compared to this, and this is in multiplayer, not even finished yet.
Best looking game of 2013 by far.
The fact they even considered the things they changed makes Microsoft looks dumb as sh*t now. Now they look completely scared of Sony.
It took the PS3 YEARS to build that legendary library. Only an idiot thinks it magically happened overnight. Hell, Killzone 2 wasn't even a launch title. Neither was InFamous. Yet now, we're getting InFamous: Second Son and Killzone: Shadow Fall as launch titles. Launches are supposed to suck.
The PS3 pretty much had no GOTY contenders until Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (2007) hit the console, and even that was a 1st generation PS3 title. After that, every year that...
^ @ scott182: And it's free.
1 before 4? Is that supposed to be the new 4 > 1? Cuz it's nowhere near as catchy. Hell, it's nowhere near as true either.
Gran Turismo is legend, made by a legend. Wake me up when Forza isn't cheating to achieve 60fps with its PS2 texture work.
Have fun with those rough specs.
Lmao @ Skyrim, only one of the most boring, broken games of the generation. Really couldn't care less about it.
Small games could always look gorgeous and outstanding. Look at Journey (endless GOTY awards), Flower, and a bunch of other indie games. It's in no way a negative thing.
When I say Knack and Puppeteer are small, I meant budget wise. They're easier to develop, hence it's better to finish those up and launch them before getting too absorbed in The Last Guardian and having each title take longer to release. That's just called bad strategy.
LMAO too late to take it back, AMD. PS4 is more powerful and you know it. Everyone knows it.
With that dumbass price tag, it's gonna have to to stay in the game. PS4 is already beating it in preorders 2 to 1.
Only the best game of this generation.
What's funny is, they only picked it up for some months. It's owned by EA, so to think it'll stay on Xbox One for too long is quite the funny delusion. EA only cares about money, and once the contract is up, all focus will be shifted to the PS4 version.
"[SCE] Japan Studio, which is developing The Last Guardian, is working on many games, like Puppeteer and Knack, to name just the publicly announced ones, and those games are of higher priority right now."
Those games are of much smaller scale and budget. I wouldn't even call them AAA, so of course they have to finish smaller titles before shifting focus to The Last Guardian. I think it's almost clear at this point though that The Last Guardian is now a PS4 g...
Guerrilla on fire lately with Mercenary and Shadow Fall.
