@ Software_Lover: If I pulled up the list of people that have similarly threatened me via PM, exposing them on these comment sections hardly solves anything.
The ongoing problem is denial of facts. Microsoft themselves have debunked the rumor. If that's not enough, then what is?
A random, misinformed forum poster claiming "but but wait for September 30th" is clearly a more credible response these days.
We will wait for September...
Hey Keregan, this isn't a personal attack, but I hope you realize that your post comes off as if it was written by a butthurt child.
Who is PrimeGrime? He's like us- an N4G user, and he has plenty of valuable information to back up his argument in this blog. Instead of keeping your cool and having a genuine discussion, you question his credibility as if you had anything better to say. You didn't, and don't. Your post just gave away where you stand in this whol...
Resogun alpha build http://a.pomf.se/3Pe9.gif
Housemarque are known for bringing native 1080p + locked 60fps to PlayStation. These are the same guys that pulled miracle work on PS3 with Super Stardust HD. It still is one of the most eye-popping games of this generation.
With Resogun, they're set to destroy even their own previous work. Housemarque work so closely with Sony, and so often, that it...
- Price: $400 vs $500 (Xbone)
- Specs: 50% more powerful than Xbone, more recently outlined by PC developer Gaijin (War Thunder) http://www.gamechup.com/war... (PS4's GPU is 40% more powerful than Xbone's, GDDR5 RAM adds up another 10% advantage or probably more against Xbone's subpar DDR3 RAM)
- Sony's 1st parties ...
Lol wrong article, buddy.
That frame rate!
What's funny is that they're talking about power as if:
1. They aren't using static backgrounds in Forza 5. Having a static background is like having a wallpaper. It's not modeled in 3D like a real environment, so 60fps is easily achievable.
2. They aren't using painted clouds. Like a static background, you have static clouds too, permanently formed in one shape.
3. They aren't using pre-baked lighting. The lighting in...
Ubisoft are like reborn or something. There isn't a single game they've shown us lately that doesn't look incredible.
How many console games that look as good as Killzone: Shadow Fall with forcefields, adjusting wind, dynamic lighting, lightmap diffusion, real time reflections, etc, @ 1080p, run at 60fps?
The answer is none.
The technology in Killzone: Shadow Fall makes every other console game look dated. The fact that they were even able to do 60fps in MP with this level of graphics is absolutely insane.
Single player is more massive in scale than MP, so o...
Guerrilla are tech gods. Shadow Fall has the best lighting and textures of any console game ever created, and it's only a PS4 launch title. I do wonder if we'll see a trailer for their new IP at the VGAs.
Just recently too, by a PC developer: http://www.gamechup.com/war...
Gaijin Entertainment claims 40% advantage for PS4 GPU, and with PS4's GDDR5 RAM, you have your 50% advantage.
That Forza sure is fantastic with pre-baked everything.
Same graphics, same dull art direction, that outdated engine, no solo campaign, possible on 360.
Next gen FPS right there.
Forza 5 is so AAA that it has no 3D modeled environments. Nothing but static backdrops, painted skies, baked cartoony lighting, pop ups, and disappearing reflections on mirrors. 60fps is a given.
Killer Instinct is 720p (lol, for a simple "next gen" fighting game)/60fps, and being developed by Double Helix, who have never in their lives made a good game.
Ryse is nothing but glitches and QTEs. You could bet the story will be horribly written as well,...
@ jackanderson1985: Nope. Those were just timed exclusive deals, and even though Microsoft published Mass Effect, they never owned the IP, so it showed up on PS3. That's why many people still aren't convinced Dead Rising 3 will stay on Xbox One.
We'll have to wait and see who's really credited for Deep Down's development. If Sony are in fact onboard, don't get your hopes up.
If Sony are helping co-develop the game, then it won't show up on Xbox One, as it could also mean that they're funding some of it as well.
This is literally nothing to go by. Just baseless speculation. I won't deny that it's possible if Capcom have complete ownership of the IP, but we don't know all the details yet. If Sony are helping, it's not as black and white as it seems.
All we know is that it was mentioned during the conference ...
What guy? Adrian Chmielarz from People Can Fly? You do know that it wasn't even HIS opinion, right? His sources are the developers that told him. Do we have a reason to call BS? No. He's never been called out.
The more recent was probably War Thunder's developers (PC developers at heart, mind you...) claiming 40% advantage for PS4's GPU. The remaining 10% obviously for GDDR5 RAM. 4664d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment
Lol Deep Down looks one full generation ahead of Ryse, and gameplay wise, it's generations ahead.
This is the exact quote.
"For starters, thanks to our new version of the CRYENGINE and our incredibly talented artists and coders, we are pushing the Xbox One’s graphics capabilities beyond anything that’s ever been seen, right out of the gate. Our main character, Marius Titus, is possibly the most detailed main protagonist in any game. Our character models are incredibly detailed, with some of the most advanced facial animations ever seen in video games. Our environment...
