It'll probably run better loading directly from the HDD anyway. I'm considering doing the same.
You're a lucky guy, Sean Pitt.

PS3 because:
1. it's originally a PlayStation franchise
2. all the trailers were made from PS3 footage (funnily enough, everyone thought it was the PC version)
No one's underestimating them. They did underestimate Sony, though. When you do that, this happens:

^ Lol look at them trying to find something to pick at, guys. It's like poking at nothing at all, don't they look funny?
I don't even understand what 4Sh0w is trying to say anymore. He's calling out random people from different topics that haven't even posted here, wtf?
Oh my. Download the 1080p vid here http://www.gamersyde.com/do...
And with all the pressure they've been getting regarding 60fps, we could assume their next game will be made with 60fps in mind. I only hope they don't dumb down the visuals to Forza level to make it happen.
Somebody called?
No static environment (like Forza), no baked lighting (like Forza) but rather, real time dynamic/global illumination, day/night transition (not like Forza which offers only baked daytime), etc. Forza 5 is a driving simulator pulling last gen tricks to achieve 60fps.
I'm trying to figure out what sets Forza 5 apart from previous Forzas and all I could come up with is "oh look, more shine and lens flare to further deceive the blind.&qu...
These night time races are going to be so chill with my playlist.
@ redwin: EA owns the IP. EA also owns Criterion and Ghost Games, so it's perfectly possible.
A third-person Contra could be really interesting for them. Just from playing Lords of Shadow, it's easy to tell that they love a good story, which is exactly what Contra needs. Couple that with the amazing artists at MercurySteam and we could have a winner. Could end up being one of the best looking games of next gen too, if Lords of Shadow 2 is any indicator of what they're capable of.
Yeah the fixed camera was my biggest issue. Sometimes it was so zoomed out the frame rate took a massive hit because there was so much on screen. Other times it was so zoomed in, that like you said, you couldn't tell if something was coming at you from the sides. Fixed camera can be a real problem sometimes.
The boss fights felt like a completely different game though. Even the frame rate was much smoother, (minus the Stone Idol and Colossus).
I'm probably in in the minority when I say that Lords of Shadow was pretty damn amazing. Not only was that plot twist at the end incredibly satisfying to witness, but the game had some of the most memorable boss fights I've played.
MercurySteam really captured the essence of Castlevania and made it work better than any other 3D Castlevania. I'm sure it's an honor for them to be able to work with such a legendary franchise. It surprises me to see how far these ...
Nope, it was real. Thing is, it's not as uncensored as people say it is. They don't know genitals in the game, so people need to lighten up.
It's easy to rip them apart when all they do is insult the consumer's intelligence with continuous, obviously false claims.
No Xbox One exclusive has "on par" tech with Killzone: Shadow Fall.
Show ONE, go ahead.
Killer Instinct with two characters on screen running at 720p? Nope.
Ryse, a simple one or two button QTE adventure that used to be a Kinect game? Nope.

I'm trying to understand how shutting our eyes to the truth will make us more informed. Being skeptical about water being wet won't make the water less wet.

They gave up, lol.
Or a new Road Rash.
Well, this is the 360 port. No evidence of this happening on PS3.
