It looks good for a cross gen game. http://www.gamersyde.com/ne...
Where there's a will there's a way.
Just like Microsoft supported Ryse, right? Look how much good that did for Crytek.
12 new characters makes me happy. I don't care for the 12 old faces as long as I get Stryker and Ermac.
Square-Enix was already having financial troubles. This will only make things worse for them. They're burying their own franchises. The reboot even sold better on PS3 globally.
Unless Microsoft is publishing the game, it's only "100% exclusive to Xbox" for a period of time. BioShock all over again. Careful wording can do wonders.
If a bunch of multiplatform games and one new IP that looks terrible (Scream Ride) was great to you, then I guess Sony already won.
Surprised to see how repetitive it looks. The color palette is really drab as well. Voice acting is cringeworthy. Melee just looks like QTE.
Overall, not as impressed as I thought I'd be.
Didn't realize Halo was still relevant after Bungie left it.
@ XBL: You sound really bitter.
Well, after the disappointing b-team Dark Souls 2, I'm just glad to have Miyazaki back in director status. Even if this isn't Demon's Souls 2, which Sony owns the IP and could choose to revive it any point, we can expect the same vibe from Bloodborne, especially since the entire design for this game is going to be like The Tower of Latria (best level in the entire Souls series).
Bloodborne is practically a horror RPG and can easily become a massive series for Son...
That's a pretty desperate post.
What? When did Sony buy the Shenmue IP?
Yeah, I preferred Demon's Souls. Every boss played out like a puzzle for me. Everything else from level design to atmosphere was better in Demon's Souls as well. The Tower of Latria remains the most terrifying location in any game in the last couple years, which is also the same level that inspired the design of Bloodborne.
Additionally, The Nexus, The Maiden in Black, Maiden Astrea + Garl Vinland are simply unforgettable.
Guerrilla, Quantic Dream, or Media Molecule.
Looks like GG's 3rd person sci-fi RPG might finally be getting a public trailer.
Bloodborne says hi back.
This is probably the same door from the closed doors demo that everyone went nuts over at E3. There's a huge creature behind it, which seems to get louder and louder while you're fighting other enemies. Creates a level of atmosphere and tension that would drive you mad.
It's Souls type gameplay with a greater emphasis on aggression and drinking blood, therefore faster and no more hiding behind shields (that we know of. doesn't fit the period the game takes place in either).
Looks like sidestep/dash has replaced roll as well. Not sure what you're expecting from gameplay, honestly. I'd be quite disappointed if they went for an entirely new gameplay approach given the perfection that is Demon's/Dark Souls.

Thing is, I'm actually more excited for Bloodborne than Uncharted 4.
A fighting game for casuals.
