I realized recently that I probably wouldn't use Epic at all if it wasn't for the exclusivity. As I continued to ignore a GoG sale for any modern games even with the benefit of being DRM free, it seemed Steam being the default was inevitable. Epic has improved a bit from its pretty terrible launch, but it's overall still far worse than Steam and given Valve's will to put in cool things like "Remote Play Together," it's probably going to stay that way.
I hadn't played Plague Tale yet, but I was under the impression that it was almost entirely at night. That definitely threw me off.
This is the second random dog and the second dog I don't recognize at all.
I at least had a guess yesterday. Today I don't have a clue.
I saw a few reviews of it when it came out. Didn't interest the art style is immediately recognizable.
@Sciurus_vulgaris
Steampunk IS retrofuturisitc... just like Dieselpunk... Atompunk... etc. Alternate history and anachronism would also differentiate it.
And yesterday a post was up here talking about how they needed BOTW 2 to somehow survive PS5 and Project Scarlett... jeez.
The idea that the Switch is a direct competitor to even the PS4 and XBone is even a ridiculous assertion. Nintendo specifically put themselves in another class by designing and marketing it as both a handheld and a console. A huge number of people purchased it exclusively for that reason. It's constantly getting years-old games because the entire market they've captured wants to take games mobile and doesn't necessarily care about the latest and greatest graphics.

System Shock is cyber punk. BioShock is retrofuturistic. It would probably be more like Outer Worlds.
Wow I guessed so hard on that last one and actually got it. Miracles.
The narrative connection between Rapture and Columbia was great. If they could replicate that quality writing into a new location without making it obvious from the start, they'd be heroes. Going back to Rapture for a third or technically a fourth time would be weird. But what's left? Space? That might be strange... but could be interesting.
It didn't take me very long at all, but it might be interesting to run around in with that variety of difficulty settings. I feel like the multiplayer isn't so much for me. It has its moments, but the slippery maneuvering of the characters doesn't feel as reasonable on a PC with mouse and keyboard.
I can finally get one right...
Man, I suck at these. I even played through and reviewed Anthem and still couldn't identify that. Maybe I was trying to block it out of my mind...
For point one, I actually believe the opposite. The advertisements for the game were almost entirely about the co-op missions and I found them to be the least enjoyable part of the game. The PvP was way more entertaining and not at all like Overwatch. It was a 3D MOBA more in line with Smite. I think if they advertised that, it might have at least had the following Smite had
Of course, given the fate of Super Monday Night Combat and Paragon, Smite was pretty much the on...
Conan did end up with a pretty funny character, I'm glad the got him in there with more than just a boring face cameo.
There's really not room in the narrative for a sequel. At least not involving Sam. And given the focus on Sam and his significant involvement with the small group of remaining leadership - playing someone else would be even stranger. I think the best route is just to move on in IPs. I'd love to see a return to stealth action, but I imagine he doesn't want to step back into that realm. As clear as it is that Silent Hills would have been successful, I'm just not a fan of ho...
I've had a pretty good time with the stuff they added recently. Really evokes classic Battlefield 1942 fun with the island gameplay. This sort of pushes it toward Planetside, which might be a nice addition.
I don't know what constitutes "Small demos" but everything that feeds into the persistent universe is playable. Dozens of mission types, two fully explorable major city hubs, fully voiced and animated mission givers, dozens of flyable ships and vehicles, two massive planets and several large moons to explore, asteroid fields, mining, cargo running, random pirates, a full law system enforced in zones, huge space stations, fps ground combat, and of course a load of emergent gamep...
I think this is another one where if you played the game you know but if you didn't you have no clue.
