Honestly if you haven't played from the jump then I honestly don't expect you to understand. I agree fully with this statement. I don't think anyone is automatically opposed to them. It just seems like the people who like them. Coming from someone who has put over 500 hours + into KF. I don't know why anyone would be crying. Killing Floor has never been about being super demanding. I mean KF2 looks amazing compared to the first but not insane. If anything it gives them like someone said more revenue to continue to do what they do better. Man I need the Gjallahorn so bad right now I want it over everything. Friend of mine started like 3 weeks ago an on the second week we ran him through the raid an he pulled it from the chest. The look on my face was priceless let me tell you. I can't even draw the fatebringer or the pretorian foil. Raid has given me the pulse rifle after running it on every character in the past two weeks.

Consoles for sure have their fair share of casual gamers but most of the people I play with are anything but casual. An I for one was actually impressed with how good both the games you mentioned looked on last gen consoles at the end of a cycle. My problem with those drivers since the recent .48 drivers my display drivers keep crashing when I turn my monitors off. They need to fix that.
Same the lag is the worst I have ever experienced next to ghost and the killstreaks are down right useless or have way to high of a score requirement. Predator missiles and harriers/choppers kept fools moving.

When you are at the point in this game when you have ran the raid about 9 times plus and gotten one piece of raid gear. Only one of those activities matters an you can do it once a week. An like me end up getting nothing you need from it.
See my problem now lies in the random drops of the raid. Two weeks and not a single piece of raid gear I needed. An yet I can only run it once a week.
The one thing with the cod series though is I never wanted them to innovate for the sake of saying they did. Mainly because I knew if they did we would get a product like ghost. No clean 3 lane design, over sized maps, removal of staple killstreaks that minimized camping,terrible lag compensation system that resulted in the worst connections ever. Which is why they removed you ability to see your ping bars after like the first week the game was out.
