Plenty of games have and will be upgraded, whether many of them are exclusives or not is irrelevant.
The game is mediocre, even without micro transactions.
In the same way that every multiplatform game looks significantly better on the X... Yes.
Did anyone expect an upgrade to sell better than an actual new system? I don't see how that's "remarkable."
I thought it was the fact that it has the worst maps in the entire series, but sure.
Those numbers would make it 150 games. But yes, still incredibly absurd.
Worst Call of Duty since the PSP game.
Yeah, Wolfenstein 2 got robbed.
The multiplayer is the worst in the entire series, but the other two parts are good.
None of the three main parts are even out yet... what kind of review is this? Take away the score and call it a preview.
Nope, game is trash.
The Order was terrible. But a sequel would be interesting, since the world has so much potential.
Who even uses shareplay? Actually, it might be good for people who want to watch other people play their own games... Oh wait that's called YouTube.
You've been on a bit of an Xbox crusade haven't you? Must be gutted that the new Ratchet was rubbish.
Some of the file sizes are similar to the non X versions, in fact some of them are slightly smaller. There isn't a notification saying "you are about to download a 4K patch." The only real way to know if an upgraded game is installed/is about to be installed, is to go into "My Games & Apps", then checking the Xbox One X Enhanced Games under "All" (Top right hand option.)
Have you downloaded any patches for them at all yet, even non 4K ...
"The Far Cry series isn’t controversial because its settings and villains are foreign to North American players. It’s controversial because of what those exotic settings, villains and narratives are used to achieve. Every gameplay and narrative element of the Far Cry series works to make sure we understand that each game’s villain doesn’t resemble anyone who Ubisoft imagines is playing the game."
What are you even talking about? I swear I lost brain cells trying t...
"I mean, the story is "kill Nazis"; it's not high art"
Spoken like someone who didn't play the first game. The New Order had a fantastic story.
Would you rather the game was consistently the same difficulty throughout? As in, no epic set piece/arena moments? Those need to be harder than the quiet moments.
I get what you mean about the run and gun stuff being fun, it is. And that's why you should play it on an easie...
Are you on the X? They should just download automatically as a normal patch. What games have you got installed? just asking as some games haven't been updated yet.
What a bad review. I don't care about the score, but the gameplay complaints were off, and it's evident you didn't play the first game.
"but then your health melts away like butter when you’re hit, and now running and gunning doesn’t seem like such a good idea."
If you want to play that run and gun style you see in the trailers... play it on easy mode. Problem solved. It would be too easy if that sort of playstyle was viable in the h...
Damn you, got me all excited for a bit. Most definitely won't happen since EA hates easy money I guess.
Some games genuinely can justify them for continued support for years on end.
Rocket league is a great implementation of loot boxes, and well justified. It's still being supported years after launch with tons of new content, and the only things loot boxes unlock are cosmetic, completely ignorable. Not to mention it's not a full price game, and many people got it for free on PS+.
I don't expect developers to keep adding new content to multilaye...
