A license for a text that is almost 700 years old? Oh and this takes the cake: "While I'm still waiting for my copy of Dante's Inferno, I have been checking out the review sites, Achievement guides and message boards in preparation for the arrival of the game." In other words, I like to run off at the mouth about other people's experiences and not do my own research.
Someone please post something that is an example of actual news or at least has some semblance of &quo...
I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised with Dante's Inferno. My girlfriend actually bought it since she is a fan of The Divine Comedy, but I wanted to play it since it was sort of like seeing all my death metal album covers come to life trying to kick my ass, lol. I completely agree that the combat is a direct copy of GoW, but on the other hand the atmosphere that Dante's creates is very unique and awe inspiring. Is it a perfect game? No. On my PS3 copy I did notice a little tea...
Judging by the quality of work shown in the pics, I really don't know if I would trust this guy. Sure it may work for a while but who knows what will happen a year later. This guy's soldering is pathetic as well as his automotive parts store wire he is using. Oh and grounding by "just wrap a wire around any of the metal screws" is more than foolish. This guy is obviously not any sort of technician or anyone with experience working with electronics. He doesn't even mention groun...
Sorry guys but aside from some graphical differences, Battlefield 2 and most of it's mods are twice the game that Bad Company 2 is. Personally I prefer the Project Reality mod for BF2 but either way BF2 has already had a longer life than BC2 will probably ever have. The only real thing Bad Company has is destructible environments which to me is sort of a gimmick since it does next to nothing to enhance the gameplay. From what I have seen is it results in is trigger happy tank gunners takin...
Why would no one in Europe join Valor? Valor is British also.
Because you are an idiot and so is the moron who posted that. This is the actual Tweet:
"SonyPlayStation
Tomorrow (1/26) there will be PSN maintenance from 12-3am PT. During that time, SCEA users will be unable to sign in for a 10 min. period."
This is the actual Tweet from Sony:

This guy who wrote this "article" is a complete jackass. He also posted on his site that there is no point in buying MAG at a Midnight release. Here's his quote: "Plan on standing in line for MAG at midnight? Don't bother. Besides recent reports that reviews are being withheld, the Sony PlayStation Twitter feed just announced that PSN will be down for maintenance from 12-3am pacific standard time. Guess we're all better off buying it tomorrow...or maybe after some reviews te...
I've been playing it for months and it just keeps getting better. I agree that it is probably one of the best game mods out there. I'd only put it second behind Project Reality, the BF2 mod, because I like FPS games a little better. But yeah if you have Company of Heroes, Blitzkrieg is a must have mod. It's a great way to kill several hours a day for months at a time, lol.
I have the MGS Codec ring for my text tone. My ring tone is the one from the Movie Crank. I know, so cliché.
They can just keep on working on their "new title". I won't be buying it after the complete mess Dragon Rising was. Odd that I just finished playing it a few minutes ago. I went back to see if maybe I could get into it again but the first time the AI screwed up even after I made it through the ridiculous command menu to give them the correct orders, it made me remember why I hate Codemasters so much. I won't even get on the subject of the online play, I'm just speaking of single...
I was in the Beta from the 3rd phase I believe and never really experienced any lag. We had a few network problems here and there, but they were quickly fixed and nothing I experienced seemed laggy. I agree that this guy probably has never seen MAG running and is just basing his lag comments off the idea that "with that many players, it has to be laggy", which is completely false. MAG runs surprisingly smooth. Now I'm sure there will be the usual hicups when the game is first re...
Perhaps, but you start as Zero. You measure your life in years past. Time is ongoing and is measured by the present as there was no year "0 AD". We started the calendar with 1, while our lives start at nothing.
Actually I can see both sides of it, but I've always enjoyed discussing that bit of theory, just like the age old color/perception theory. ;D
I'll be picking up Dante's Inferno for the PS3 and not GoW3. Mainly because I am just not interested in the whole Greek mythology bit, though I admit the games look and play great, I just never got into them. Dante's on the other hand really interests me because of the visuals, the utter coolness of kicking ass through Hell and I'm a big fan of Dante's Divine Comedy. Who wouldn't want to play a game that takes you through an interpretation of one of your favorite books? Both Dante's and G...
So by that theory we started at year Zero AD?
I have to say that was probably one of the more interesting things I've read that has been posted on N4G. All the fanboy BS aside, it's a good insight to how a developer looks at a game of Uncharted 2's scale. Naturally I may find the article more interesting because I am a fan of U2 than someone who does not know the game or dislikes it, but still it was a good interview. Could use a bit of proofreading though. ;D
And a 3 year old "pwns" your grammar.
I'd prefer to remember him as "Jed" from Red Dawn, which is probably the only movie he made worthy of any sort of news.
Agreed. It's sort of like Neverwinter Nights "lite". It's got a style similar to NwN with various weapons but just a few characters and drastically simplified magic. A decent time waster that's pretty addictive, like the old Baldur's Gate PS2 games. There's also a demo for those that want to give ti a try before buying it at Fileplanet and similar places but I don't think this deal will last very long on D2D. Oh and I've bought probably 20 games from D2D and highly recommend th...
I've been using a wireless Logitech G7 for over 4 years now. No lag and no problems using it. With two batteries I can hot swap them in game with barely a pause and the adjustable DPI is nice for FPS games and games like BF2 where speeding the mouse up really helps to spin the tank turrets around fast.
