@Argento-Nox: Tomb Raider: Anniversary, Xbox Originals, etc say hi.
Err, where in the article does it say Microsoft wanted people to pay for the Titan Pack? Its just a flame bait article the author spun using Gears of War.
Two theories,
1. They are doing this to replace old units with Jaspers
2. The Elite will be phased out and the Premium will get a 120GB upgrade to take its place. The only thing you will lose is color variation.
If the quality keeps up then yes, no Halo title has gone below 80% on Metacritic. Although Microsoft does know better then to play their card for too long, previous franchises are a prime example of that.
Its a shame though, Halo is a victim of its own success, their is just so much to explore in the Halo universe (including Marathon), it can all make for a really intriguing story line.
I also picked up Halo Wars and am really enjoying it, reviews above 8 is rea...
He is right, the most recent example is probably the Mortal Kombat story where 99% of sites that reported on the matter FAILED TO MENTION the fact that the alternatives were restructuring along with throwing their own personal jabs at Midway in.
When I write I always use the very last paragraph to voice my opinions of the matter but I make it clear they are not apart of the story but my own views. Unfortunately not everyone does this.
Have they even showed enough of the game for anyone to speculate at the level of graphics on a proper level? Regardless from the little I have seen they are definitely this generation, not sure if they will live up to Jaffe's hype, what ever it maybe but they will definitely stand out
I'm in the process of playing it but so far from what I have seen it is definitely a interesting take on not only the series but the Vietnam war itself.
Fantastic! These guys get what they deserve, not to mention this could give Midway a fighting chance.
Likewise, can't wait to try Wheelman and is if it lives up.
Thats really good, especially considering Ninja Blade falls under on those "odd" titles Microsoft publishes every year which tend to get little backing and pretty mediocre reviews.
House of the Dead: Overkill would also be welcome, that game needs horsepower to achieve what it wanted.
Agree, probably just a case of the studios want to churn out as much quantity as possible with little error checking.
I bet if the price was lower it may have done a bit better, charging $20 for such a short and simple game is ridiculous, the review even compares it to Streets of Rage which is available on the XBLA as well for $15 less! :p
Its worked flawlessly for me, what kind of issue are you having?
Most definitely, I really enjoyed COD: WAW, its good to see Infinity Ward is borrowing from Treyarch this time around instead of last time when they slightly borrowed the multiplayer class system and retooled it to what we see today in COD games.
World of Goo and No More Heroes would be pretty welcome.
A Jim Sterling review? Does he even have any credibility anymore? Did he even play the game?
Back on topic the score definitely fits, Killzone 2 is definitely a marvel worth attention.
MK 9 will be the deciding factor, even though MK already has millions of dedicated players a epic Mortal Kombat will definitely bring the series back in the eyes of many.
If Midway truly needs to sell the franchise they should wait till MK 9 is out, that way they can see how things go and if a sale is needed, in turn maximizing revenue.
Wait till March 31st, thats when Midway releases their quarterly report so we can see how much net revenue they generated for Q4 2008 and then speculate on their future, perhaps they won't have to sell, all they need to see is submit a restructuring document.
Firstly, many of those games were a mess that deserved to sell bad, had they put more time into them perhaps they would have sold better. Secondly, this company bought Eidos...nuff said.
Although it is admirable of him to cut his own salary, shame other execs aren't so respectful.
