Probably happen same day Bioware separates from EA :(

However Blizzard in theory could probably find more cash to make it happen. Both EA/Activision will be holding on for dear life though as Blizzard and Bioware are both quality yet "tarnished" now in some people's eyes. No denying something was lacking anyways in some of the latest games.

We can dream though but no telling how much of a change it would actually make.

I can remember the VB demos at stores... they didn't help it any. Sat right next to all the handhelds of the day which did much better.

I agree though as Wii U is less likely to fail and just return to pre-Wii GameCube days at worst.

If so I hope Nintendo takes it into account and makes a new traditional console next time or a truly powerful handheld. I enjoy their games but care much less for hardware it runs on or way they are controlled. A "new...

Sony and other companies would had been mentioned as well if they were remotely relevant so don't see why MS is getting so much hate. All of the companies fingered were communication/social giants which is natural choice for any organization (Govt included) would contact first looking for pretty much any kind of information.

Just saying the companies aren't to blame near as much as the government but somehow people are redirecting it away from who is ultimately respo...

Its almost guaranteed. Most games with grade A editors find strong communities and fact its both a cheap game and old school RPG makes it likely diehard RPG modders will jump on board at some point. Reviews don't hurt either as main complaint is save system apparently.

Yet another game I have to fit into my back catalog... I need to stop playing same game over and over (DotA 2 ATM... I knew I quit original for a reason--that being not enough hours in the day).

Sad truth is almost only way Gamestop gets my money nowadays is through their PC app ;)

Even then it doesn't happen often but sometimes something comes up I can't pass up on. Was a sad day Impulse sold it though.

I'm looking forward to so many other classics and isometric games over the next year or two.

Just glad this one turned out good and hope rest follow suit.

I haven't played it much but it isn't bad (free part). There is a ton of stuff to buy though (new war frames have different abilities) but it sounds like they can be earned in game but likely take a long, long time (way most f2p works).

The main reason I like it is its coop and great for shorter sessions (way its designed with revive system is most annoying part of the whole thing similar, again, to many f2p titles). However what I have played so far single player i...

Only problem with Rev to Civ is if you don't want an even more complicated system ;)

All of the Civ games are pretty crazy but there are enough difficulties, enemy number, map size, play speed, etc to allow for a wide variety of player types. Its just never going to be a truly simple affair. Custom game option can be intimidating at first though as so many options.

It is a blast though and can keep you up all night at times if not careful and has some o...

New Halo info is killer and will move consoles but new IPs are what keeps things fresh. I am more than happy to wait for another Halo reveal if it means we get a new IP that is actually worth our time and money. After all we know Halo is coming.

I agree with just about everything.

#1 is what I want most--on top of maybe a Kameo 2 and a few other old franchises returning.

After that maybe new IPs somewhat similar (Platform, Action, or RPG) if not a returning franchise. Shooters and racers are great and all but they make up about half or more of MS's most supported genres (and think they get a substantially larger part of the budget).

To be honest I don't see Halo gameplay com...

Specs matter but games>specs. I game on PC as primary platform ATM but the article is right as nearly all PS4 games look as good or better than at least 75% of PC games of today. When it releases that might change though as new engines scale better (both up and down) so PC will see even better looking games as well.

To be honest I would be happy if many PC games looked as good as Killzone 3 or Infamous SS. We have some that look better but not all devs can afford or att...

Actually they have shown other scripted moments outside of executions: shield wall and archers being 2 I can think of off the too of my head. I'm curious if they are required or if you don't do them it changes anything (less help by allies as they die) or if they are required you just stand there till you do it (which would be stupid).

The way they have described it is you are not just a soldier but a commander of soldiers and only seen a few examples but in warfare...

I don't mind the scripted events--its part of what gives it its cinematic flare.

Some of the combat could be bit more fluid though as ocassionally it would be a little too fast or slow given the combat going on. Not a big deal though but alway something to nitpick about and animations are never going to be exact for all circumstances unless completely scripted.

I still like the cinematic look and can tell they were at least partly inspired by "300&q...

I can see it happening. As much as I loved this year's we should see even more games focused entirely on next gen hardware. Graphics will naturally improve but they will also have seen how some of their "integrated" features (like app hacking) work (or don't) so can expand or at least improve on them.

Same goes for other devs for same reasons.

Best thing about it: Darth Vader is hiding inside ;)

Really cool Lego work though as from a distance and on the small icon looks pretty authentic. Lego just needs to make larger flat pieces.

Spec Ops was free on PS+ a few months back too (here in US as varies by region apparently)--I picked it up then with some friends. It didn't last too long though like most third party games. I get in the habit of "purchasing" (initializing the DL) any free ps+ game just so I can download whenever I want from purchase history ;)

I do it with PS Vita games too although dont own one yet as probably pick one up later and will have a nice game catalog to hold me ov...

A bunch of Indies (or equivalent such as Arcade/PSN) I kept passing up and likely won't play for months or years later (if ever). Then a few strategy/sim games I kept looking at but never buy (mostly Space related this time).

Newest game I bought was FC Blood Dragon as hasn't picked it up but also bought "old games" like FF7, Baldur's Gate (although own original on CD still), etc which have been retouched. Most of the big games I already owned or am wi...

My one complaint is it not going dark and occult like RtCW. It still looks good though but want to see some more solid gameplay.

As long as a game is good though I can accept almost anything.

He's right about it as not all games are created equal--nearly all of the "best" AAA though have been using it for years (some better than others which are the exception).

As it becomes cheaper and easier to do though more will bridge the gap so to speak. With all the tech demos shown this year featuring it shouldn't be long now either. What we have seen for next gen though puts most of today's to shame still.

That's why you use both.
