I'm glad they were just being cautious of anybody trying to hypothetically try something in the future perhaps ubisofts recent troubles with vivendi are what spurred this on caused them to get around to doing this.

alright now with some rebalanced gameplay it won't be so damn frustrating to get 10 minutes into a level only to start all over again.
the required online connection is atrocious already but the elusive contract thing might be one of the biggest wastes of potential iv'e ever seen all that work and effort into a mission that even if you could play it when available only has 1 try and after that its gone for good that's even worse than the pre order bullshit we have already in games.
It doesn't help that EA decided with battlefield 1 to monopolize their servers for the game and shutout third parties for private servers which means even those offered by them could be affected by this sucks for them this is one of the main hitches with peer to peer public servers its easy to disrupt them by ddos attack.
yeah the reality of that dissapoints me but i'm glad some games still try to do it even if i had to knock the graphical fidelity down to get a better framerate i would smoother animations are more noticable to me than a prettier skybox and gameworld.
I like niohs way of doing it instead of choosing for us they give you the option to choose framerate over resolution and vice versa im more of a framerate guy myself.
I'm pretty sure the negative reception is mainly from everybody being burned out on the series they make a new one yearly and as a result people are just tired you can only remix something soo many times until it gets stale i burned out around ghosts titanfall 2 is great tho based hemlock and legion baby.
i don't really consider it an important game but unlike everybodies gone to the rapture i actually finished the game and it didn't fucking stutter every few seconds and change from day to night in a few seconds it's such a small contained game that it was very good at directing me on where to go even though it lets you go wherever you want from the start if the doors not locked.
I sure hope not that would be awful.

making a hypothetical situation and telling somebody to solve it for their criticism or opinion to matter seems arbitrary.
it feels like its going to have the opposite problem of the first game instead of not having much personality along with taking itself too seriously it will probably have too much in your face kind of personalities along with not taking itself seriously enough so you don't really feel any tension that something bad might happen in the story.
interesting there aren't alot of games that let you play as the monster in them and this also looks like it might be another one for the list of great games made in unity i'm curious to see how this turns out.
I do however I want games that have them to try and focus on making them smaller in scope with condensed varied activities to do instead of making it as big as possible with a ton of the same side stuff over and over again like in assassin creed it would really help replayability.
so its basically a visual novel less sexual version of the eroge rpg monster girl quest then bummer was hoping for something more along those lines instead of another visual novel.
I'd much rather have a higher frame rate over extra graphical detail since its more readily apparent although this is definitely a personal preference for me however the improved frame rate is something i wish to see in more games instead of just better graphics.

can't wait for this to finally be completed these guys are great working for years to make resi 4 look this good and i'm excited for it to eventually be done so i can go through resi 4 yet again with everything looking so great.
