I highly doubt niantic will be able to track down and crack down on these people if they are using the spoofing technique to move within reasonable distance unless they are teleporting across the world many times a day i doubt that a company that breaks their own game more and more with each patch can catch these guys unless they are deliberately not trying to spoof within a distance somebody could reasonably get to by vehicle or airplane.

the reason dlc has a such a bad rap are the companies who blatantly use it just to milk money out of the consumer instead of adding actual value to the game its for like witcher 3 and gta 4s dlc the other companies that just milk it for extra money set the precedent that we now live in as my previous 2 examples are the exception to the norm of regular dlc.

that's hilarious and ironic EA a company absolutely obsessed with getting as much profit as possible snubbed one of the most popular and fun indie games of all time and now that its a hit they can only bemoan what ever asshat passed up the opportunity to have it under their belt but that's all for the best to me im pretty sure EA would have fucked it up somehow with interference.
