if it sold a million that would be a revenue of around 70 million dollars. If we remove VAT/sales tax and retailer margin + distribution for physical copies they would be in the ballpark of around 40 million dollars net revenue.
Housemarque had 80 employees at its peak. Their last game prior to Returnal released in 2017 and on average I think they make a game every 2 years. That's because they were supposed to launch storm divers but was put on hold. Probably to divert...
I am starting to understanding the mediocrity these companies like Activision, Blizzard, riot, ubisoft etc. release the last years. Some of the reports mention main employees that are drunk multiple times on the job and delegatie a lot of their work to new rectuits and women on top of their jobs. Management doesn't give a shit. I hope for those suffering that times will be better soon and that whoever is enabling this behavior will get fired.
I had 12 months from a macbook purchase. Can i add an additional 6 months the current subscription because that would be sweet if possible
It indeed takes an m2 drive. You can swap it out but is not advised because you have to open up the system and possible remove the battery.
I believe that you could immediately continue challenges or activities with spider man skipping the menu. I think it depends per game and developer.
The emmc storage is also connected via the M2 interface.
How is he lying? In the last 12 months they released Ghost of Tsushima, Returnal, Astrobot and Destruction All Stars. And they supported many more second party new IPs.
Then again, you probably know this already and the only thing you support is the narrative to bring the successful platform down to justify your current platform of choice.
If you ever need proof if Sony delivers you can always look to the last 12 months of game releases and it will be gr...
If you are tech savvy you could get the 64GB model and replace the storage with a 2230 M2 nvme SSD. Only problem is those are a bit expensive. 200USD for 1TB.
With that price for storage in mind I just reserved the 512GB model. It's a bit expensive but with the backlog of games I have I should be good for quite some time.
Your question has been replied to almost immediately after your comment. That was more than 20min before this one.
It's a dedicated handheld with 4c/8t Zen 2 CPU and 8 RDNA 2 cores. About similar power as a base PS4 GPU and faster CPU than PS4/Xbox One. Additionally you can install any operating system you want. It comes with Steam OS 3. You can download a lot of games and play them from the internal memory 64/256/512GB (only last 2 are NVME btw). You can also use USB o...
it has a 4 core 8 thread zen 2 cpu and 8 RDNA 2 cores. Basically similar or more power than base PS4
I'm not finished yet and I have played over 12 hours and believe I only have 1 planet/mission left (nearing the end). So I'm gonna finish the game somewhere around 14 hours. This also includes doing the side missions and finding 2/3 of gold bolts and almost all raritarium. I haven't done the Arena battles beside the mandatory ones so I think I would platinum this game at around 17 hours or so.
This is quite a good amount of playable time and none of the time is...
Delete it, used to be fine when the whole game was around 100GB for all modes combined at launch but now it's ridiculous. The game is not worth the space. You could have Returnal, Ratchet and Clank, Miles Morales, Judgement, Control, Tony Hawk remake and Astro Playroom installed for about 200GB or so.
they actually tried not too long ago I believe with UFC4
For 20 euros you have the expansion on PS4. For an additional 10 you upgrade to a proper PS5 version with dual sense features and even faster loading/better graphics. Also cutscenes are realtime rendered on PS5. This way they bring a fix for the Japanese lip sync. I also think because of that the size of the game might be a bit smaller than on PS4
Isn't that kinda the same if you would get the expansion anyway? if you don't need the lip sync correction and dual sense features the expansion is 20USD.
Yep, I'm done with mediocrity. Give me a good product and I'll pay for it. I don't have time to enjoy games riddled with micro transactions but pretend they are cheap/free. I'm done playing games where the focus is grinding half the time. I'm done with broken games at launch.
Spending 80 euros at least for me on Ratchet and Clank was more value for money than the 8 months of game pass PC I had finishing somewhere last year.
Why worry? Sony has delivered 5 great single player experiences in the last 9 months with Spider-Man Miles Morales, Demon Souls, Returnal, Ratchet and Clank, Sackboy. Counting at least 6 when adding Astrobot. If you would cover the last 12 months you also have the Last of Us II and Ghosts of Tsushima. All these games are also not alike at all and feel and play very different. I'm sure that will continue like that. I'm sure Nintendo will continue their game franchises as well. For the ...
After 8 years of "wait till next E3" this is still going on? Why not judge based on what actually does release after such a long time.
The event was supposed to be different but the organizers declined the requests from the developer. The developer still approved to do whatever they want. They also weren't there to follow up due to travel restrictions.
It's actually pretty messed up. From the organizers to not fulfill the demands from the developer to reflect the context and setting from the game but also weird for the devs to still let everything continue while not being there.
Insomniac took action relatively quickly though about 1 employee and the other 2 involved didn't work there anymore. Still atrocious and hope the guys involved get repurcussions. Also they don't have a dude bro culture which is why they can have multiple AAA games releases soon after each other it seems.
