Well according to some intros of the Fallout series, it's safe to say that a majority of the planet was affected. I recall from Mothership Zeta you look down on Earth and see it devastated as well.

Fallout 1:

"In 2077, the storm of world war had come again. In two brief hours, most of the planet was reduced to cinders. And from the ashes of nuclear devastation, a new civilization would struggle to arise."

Fallout 2:

@Whitefeather

Hate speech is apart of free speech, as much as people would like to deny that. A person has the right to speak their mind independently potentially limited by whatever policies that fall under whom they represent, such as an employer. Everyone has the right to say whatever they want regardless if it offends someone, to deny them that right is a violation of free speech.

Conditional speech is not free.

Well you wouldn't get Killzone, but you'd get it's all flash and no substance just as mediocre equivalent. It's called Crysis.

You could cross game chat through private prior to the party system.

I don't think too many PS3 fanboys own a rig.

It's a great shooter, but other than that Ubisoft toned it down compared to Far Cry 2. The lack of weapon deterioration made fighting enemies a breeze with little consequence, the health system is pretty much a light god mode even when you're out of syringes you can simply bandage yourself up and you're back at full bars every time.

As I said it is a great shooter albeit streamlined but as far as "survivalist shooters" go, Far Cry 2, Fallout 3 and New Ve...

Same. I had little hope to begin with as the minds behind the previous Hitman games left the company and formed Reto-Moto after the horribly received Kane & Lynch. I didn't expect for the remaining people at IO to lose sight of the franchise that quickly by streamlining it so badly. It's a shame really, six years of waiting and they pull a Splinter Cell: Conviction. People often talk about the horror genre being in jeopardy. Stealth is all but dead in my book now.

I can only wonder what happened to this game, it had so much going for it and the previews were a lot different from the final product, which confused me when I played the game.

Watching this a second time after having beat the game showed it had a different direction prior with an actual story. Seems that they took what they had for a new direction and scrapp...

I've never been a fan of fantasy settings. Skyrim was my first Elder Scrolls title, that being said I dropped it immediately after sinking around 300 something hours. But keep coming back to New Vegas at least once or twice a week, even playing both Fallout 3 and New Vegas plus all the DLC twice. I'm not sure if this the case for other Elder Scroll titles but the gameplay felt streamlined for an RPG, at least compared to how extensive Fallout 3 and New Vegas are in features, abilities...

I went through the options and did not see it, the only way to not get it is to play the game on purist difficulty, which for anyone who can't stand the score system is gonna be kinda screwed if they dive into the levels without learning them the first time. It'll be one big trial and error continuously.

Story was bland and character focused on a bland character, didn't really improve anything. Also Spartan's have been dumbed down to cannon fodder with the IV's, the UNSC's best are a bunch of jarhead noob's with bad jokes and personalities. Awesome idea.

Campaign Coop was horribly implemented, for example on the Requiem chapter as your driving the ghosts coop partners will crash and constantly get stuck in a death spawn loop as the level collapses for whoe...

Can't even bother to play Halo 4 anymore. A rushed and lacking start to a new trilogy, like the Star Wars prequels I'm jumping ship and I've been playing this franchise's multiplayer since Halo: CE on PC. Bungie's Destiny or bust it seems at this point, that is if it's even a FPS.

The scoring system is not well integrated into the single-player. It's obnoxiously annoying by taking up 1/3rd of the whole screen, convoluted and deters from players playing by their own style, forcing players who want a 100% to play by the developer's way, which for an open free choice game is beyond stupid. I've been penalized for being a pacifist by not killing a non-target enemy, choosing to subdue him. That makes absolutely no sense.

This game is far from a ...

It came out long after the nominations were listed. The VGA's aired a mere three days after it's release. Not enough time to have included it. I personally think they should hold off awards until the following first month of the new year. It's just not logical to only cover eleven months out of a year when they clearly have nothing to lose by doing this.

One week earlier? Assassin's Creed III came out October 30th. As far as North America goes, Far Cry 3 came out on December 4th. That's five weeks, and only three days between until the VGA's. As anticipated the nominees were selected well before Far Cry 3's release. There simply wasn't time to have included it.

Yay. More DLC for a broken spawn ridden unbalanced multiplayer. Given that it's online activity left the top 20 charts months ago, I doubt this will see much revenue. I feel bad for the people who bought a season pass.

Rockstar can make a great singleplayer but they can't worth a damn nail a balanced competitive or even borderline stable multiplayer.

Instinct is gained as you progress, once you run out the choices you make will depend on how much you get back throughout a mission. i.e critical choices such as silent take downs add. It's not inexhaustible.

My point had nothing to do with how it's upgraded.

4871d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

I'd like to add that Instinct replaced the god like map from previous games, it's now been limited to a radius field based on 47's perception.

In any case it adds to the difficulty for casual players considering you earn the use of the ability as you progress.
