Handheld console games are not any more childish than home console games. I'll be in my 50s and still playing handheld games if they(or me) are still around.

Right? By nomenclature, why would they go with Vita 2 if they didn't go with PSP 2, Vita doesn't deserve a successor, it was not a success.

Should definitely be PSP2, I don't consider Vita a successor to the PSP, don't think they're treating it like it is, anyway.

A handheld PC, genius!

I think by now a new console from Sony would surpass PS3 graphics. I would hope for an ergonomic console, OLED screen, pressure shoulder buttons, clickable and more precise analogs, bigger d-pad/face buttons (PSP sized). Ditch touchpad(I never used it, and don't like games that require it), it may be that the system is just not very ergonomic and the touchpad is way too small and centered. A lot of stuff can be done to make it very desirable as far as hardware goes.

Still waiting for PSP2. Sony still has a chance to redeem themselves in the handheld territory, they just really need to focus on support and pricing(memory cards, or at least large internal), and no gimmicks.

3DS is doing quite well and I use my Vita everyday, I'm doubting a successor to the Vita if Sony doesn't plan on stepping up their game, but Nintendo handheld's are not going anywhere. I wish Microsoft would make a damn handheld already.

Only games near lowest, are Godzilla (and falling), DMC(and falling), and SEIII UE.

I got mine in the bundle in August, it's awesome, still playing it. I actually haven't even beat Arkham Asylum :(, but now I'm going back to it to beat it and Arkham city. They are truly well done games.

Yeah it was great and while $18.92 is only $0.70 higher than the lowest it's ever been sold/shipped by Amazon, it's been steadily at under $20 for the passed 3 Months, not really a deal. http://camelcamelcamel.com/...

It'd still just be emulation, if anything.

3831d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

It's more popular now than it ever was, really, all they need is engineers to create a cool case, controllers(or maybe just reboot the old DC controller with a new Adapter), emulation software, put some PC hardware in there, and bam, DC HD for pretty cheap.

It was such a good console and now most people realize that, the only reason it would fail is because Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft have to much a large presence in the gaming industry and are bigger companies. I don't think they have to invest much as they would on a new platform, it's not seeming like the petition was to build entirely new hardware for new games, just DC in HD and on HDD, etc.

People complaining about a $15 price tags are usually the people who own the classics on PS3 or the discs. What they want is BC and simple emulation, which I think Sony should provide(emulation software) at nominal fee, and then charge extra for trophy support and other features of the PS4, which take developer involvement.

Getting a lot of use out of remote play as well. I'm sorry but it's not that times have changed, if this stuff was available back then, people would have paid more.

I have a PS2 and would rather play on my PS4 at 1080p 60fps, and especially trophy support.

It's dead in that there will not be a successor, while I am pretty sure there will be a successor to New 3DS. Sony failed with it, and that can't be denied.

3833d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Not dead, but support has dwindled down to and multiplats and sparsely released indies and obscure Japanese games. It's not Sony it's publishers and developers that did this, Sony just got tired of it and gave up investing in exclusive AAA's because they're getting more expensive with the era of digital downloads.

Yes, now I do, but the article says this no where. The game is already out, so they worded it wrong. should be "Releasing for North America, December 22"

Oops, I was looking up the wrong game when I wanted to find out. Didn't say in the article which territory it was releasing for on Dec 22.
