The games were great as is, not forced beyond their time, 4K does not make them any better, it has it's limits.
I would prefer playing on an old TV because it'd hide the lack of polygons better, and that's the way they were meant to be played. Why make it 4k if there's an obvious threshold of improvement, there's nothing new hidden beyond the original resolution besides what clever mapping/render techniques emulation can come up with.

Like I said, if you're going to buy it day one no matter what, might as well if you're going to get something else with it at no additional cost.
I just hope popular retailers like BestBuy have demos out so I can try before I buy.
Well if you're going to buy it day 1, and have the money now, why not? It comes down to how much you're going to end up saving or being rewarded(coupons, CC rewards, etc).
Heavily Japanese, Sony and Nintendo are Japanese, only major franchises like Final Fantasy(recently) and now MGS are Xbox. Xbox is western and the market is heavily western. Simple.
That'd be awesome, but the problem is a lot of the developers are probably not on board, or licenses transferred, etc.

Cool, great breakthrough, but I would be hesitant of crippling my Playstation's official software/firmware to do something I have been able to on an old computer/laptop or phone.
I freakin' loved Terraria, best $6 I've ever spent for my brother and I on Ps4/Vita, 100+ hours invested, easily. Can't wait for even a spin-off, this looks great.
Grim Fandango Remastered was released in January, though..
It's better to get the games as they release because it will be months until they're free, that is if you're going to play and beat them right away.
That's why I"m never tempted to buy an indie or 2+ year old PS3 game, because I know I won't get to it with my huge backlog, and it will only get cheaper through sales or become free.

Ha, true, it is terrible, good if you just want a shooter to mess around and some trophies, but it's just not a good game, or even a good MOH game.. the 2010 one was better for sure.
I hardly ever have interest in all the games offered or even the majority, most of the time it's not my cup of tea, or I already own the game. People will complain every month, yes, but at least they won't have a bad track record .. people can say they at least offer great and demanded AAA games for PS4/Vita from time to time, but that's far from the truth right now.
Who cares, at least he'll be happy.
Not really, you're protected, and you're getting something out of it, whether it be merchandise and/or the finished product
