...completely bogus. There's one person on the Nintendo forum that said it worked, and another who said it didn't. It's funny, SAGN seems to think it's OK to report stupid crap as long as it comes from a Nintendo forum, what with their "Before we get flamed" comment. If you're going to get flamed, why report it?

Since the big first-party titles are going to take so long, I hope we get some high-profile third-party titles in a few months. I suppose that's about all we can hope for. Maybe the Sonic game will be good....

I'm curious as to whether someone actually paid $700 for the one shirt, or if they just made that part up. I actually wouldn't be surprised if that part were true...

OK, maybe I would be surprised.

Definitely needs the NSFW label.

Using the word "cracks" in the title just brings up memories of the stories of the hinge cracking on the DS Lites when they first came out. Heh heh.

"is in our mind a clear cut victor for best selling DS game of all time". Um, don't you mean "will be", instead of "is"?

Once again, SAGN shows how stupid they are. It's obvious the only moves the game really cares about are the highlighted ones where there's a bullseye around the remote, and you hear the ding, or clap. Those are the moves where you either hit you hip, or stick out your arm.

It also seems to care about a general movement you make, but it's not detecting your freaking footsteps!

And in case I didn't make it clear in my first sentence, SAGN has been putting out s...

That beats every Wii related injury, hands down.

People have claimed Nintendo is "more for the kiddies" since the SNES! Guess, what, it's not! It's a freaking marketing ploy that SEGA started 15 years ago with Mortal Combat. All because Nintendo is "kid friendly" doesn't make it "for the kiddies".

Nintendo has made the better console. Thus, it is doing better in the market.

The N64 cart packaging is much larger than the DS cart packaging, and cost more. The DS cart packaging must be much cheaper. Look around at the cost of 128MB memory sticks, which is the maximum capacity of a single DS cart; you can get them for as cheap as $8. So in bulk, I would imagine the DS cart hardware can be no more than $5. So worst case scenario is the game costs an extra $5.

Most DS games retail for either $30 or $35. So I suspect this game will be $35, with $40 ...

Primarily, you're paying for all the development, marketing, and so many other things that go into creating a game when you buy one, not just the cost of the physical media (the card). The hardware is a relatively small component of the game cost.

It doesn't look like SAGN (who I'm really starting to detest) even tested the file; they just reported that they saw the file. The download is supposed to be associated with the Wii, so I'd be very surprised if this actually works.

I'd test it myself, except I suspect the file is actually a virus or something. There's way to much dangerous crap out in the warez world.

That is one odd story. For the girlfriend to try and jump in like that, she must have been drunk herself. Either that, or it really is a replacement for the "fell down the stairs" excuse.

I hope this happens in the US soon, too. Not that I need a web browser on my Wii, but I want to see more channels, just for the heck of it. ;-)

Sure, you can use the Wii Remote as a mouse, but the method of cursor control is completely different as I pointed out. This patented device uses a nub to control the cursor, whereas the Wii Remote uses the gyroscopes, detecting the remote tilt, to control the cursor. It's (if you'll excuse the cliche) comparing apples and oranges. And competition can hardly be considered patent infringement, if it uses a completely different method.

The two devices are shaped and handled li...

See my post below. Yes, I'm a rabid Nintendo fanboy, and below is my reply.

Read the patent (Yes, I know, it has lots of big words. Try real hard). You'll see that with this device (which is a mouse) the Pie wedge looking device is a IR receiver, not a transmitter as the sensor bar is with the Wii. Also. there are no accelerometers in this device, and the IR device is not used to track where the remote is pointed, as it is in the Wii!

The IR on this device is simply for transmitting data. Again, the device itself is just a fancy mouse, but the way...
