I do understand your logic and that precisely my problem with services like Game Pass... I'd rather buy my games and that's it, why subscribe to a service to end up buying the games I paid via subscription?
I have so many things going on in my life that now I play games at my own pace, Wife, Kids, Friends, Family, trips, job, laziness, etc... It's more affordable and practical to just own my games without having to pay for Game Pass.

When you play an upgraded PS4 on a friends PS5 you will realize that there is a lot to play, all the old games feel different on the new system you don't have to only wait for PS5 releases to enjoy the system, everything you have on PS4 will play better on PS5 and that is a big plus for me.
But i'm with you on the scalpers, the best way to send them the middle finger is with our wallets.
All last gen PS4 exclusives look better, but a good game is not defined just by it's graphics.
