Errrrm yes. The Tegra gpu is newer more advanced tech than the Gpus in the original Xbox one and PS4 that's just a none debatable fact. The amount of flops doesn't determine how advanced a chip is. The switch is about 40 times as small as an Xbox one but it is apparently almost as powerful. Here's the difficult part, it's because it's a more advanced chip.
It's also filled with absolutely tons of exceptional games
To be fair though it sounds like Nvidia have put an amazing chip in the Switch which is totally up to date. It's far more impressive than Xbox and PS4's dated chips but I suppose that's why the Scorpio and Pro are launching.

Agreed. Gimmik free handheld/hybrid crammed full of exclusives sounds great to me. It's gunna be crazy playing Skyrim remastered (hopefully many more multiplats) on the train an what not
Well you don't know how powerfull it is. A number of developers have said you can port current gen games to it with ease. It's shaping up to be incredibly powerful considering its form factor and is using a custom version of the best mobile chip out there.

That's my point. Some people can't even afford a £250 PS4 let alone a £400 VR. No chance its gunna be top selling gaming hardware at that price. From what I can see as well,from the many people I know who have got a ps4 like 1-5% of them bought a VR. I'd rather be using my money to buy a Pro or am XB1s than a power rangers helmet...

The switch is gimmick free, being portable isn't a gimmik that's just being portable. I'd rather Nintendo just focus all their efforts on gimmik free games.
