4gb ram and 1tflop would put it in the ball park of an Xone. You would be able to port anything off Xone to it with ease. Its a handheld that is capable of running ps4, Xone ports.
The PS4 pro and scorpio could be considerd gen 8.5 . I like to think the switch has completely transcended typical generations.

This^ Not everything that is viraly popular is good. The N64 , Gamecube amd Dreamcast are my favorite consoles, I don't look back and think I wish they would of sold 100,000,000!!! Don't care.

At which stage you come to the logical conclusion that they will be bringing Skyrim remastered to the Switch. I recon it'l be a day 1 launch title.

@Erik Erm no it will look very close to the Xbox one version if the rumoured specs are true, what part of Nvidia tegra makes you think 10 year old 250 gflop gpu ?
It'l run the Xbox one version with maybe some small, almost unnotieable down scaling.
I'm litteraly playing Paper Mario right now lol. I love my WiiU and I've played enough fantastic games on it to justify my purchase.
The Switch is gunna be ten times better though.

What I really want to see is an in depth sizzle real of Switch games, just so I can give my wallet an early funeral.
I think the tablet will have touch for browsing and certain smart phone releases and apps. Like you say it won't work for main releases that play on TV. I can see Pokemon go and Mario run getting Switch releases among otner things.
Not true at all considering some of the fantastic games on Wii,Wiiu and next Switch. If anything the PS4 and Xbox one are holding the PC back, Nintendo isn't in the power race.

Did people honestly expect Nintendo to put a disc drive on the tablet? I'm Keeping my Wiiu and 3DS but I wont play them much once I get the switch. The Ps4 and Xbox one dont suport last gen discs either so...
@edmix the problem some people have is that they can only/barely afford one console. For me personally thoufh, backwards compatability is not important and I look forward to owning an NX a Scorpio and a 4K TV ;)
Lots of rumours seem to suggest that you can port Xbox1 and Ps4 games to it with ease. But ok bud, let's just jump to the conclusion that it can't run anything just to satisfy peoples unnecessary hatred.
It's actually an incredibly powerful tablet that can run current gen games, that's the way I see it.
I've bought everything they made since the SNES so yes. I'll have an Xbox/scorpio to go with it.
