im not big on Hack/slash games, for sure this doesnt compare to Diablo. But I still enjoyed it. I played for about 20 minutes, but then had to go to work. I the premise is interesting the story and execution. The graphics might not be the best, but seriously games dont have to have the best graphics to be enjoyable. Once you get past the controls that nobody is use to, it becomes second nature. the guns, the attacks are all easy and fluid. But, that only enhnaces the repetition. Which I think...

To me, outside of Bioware: Mass Effect, KOTR, no company that isnot in the East, provides compelling stories. Something Japan developers heavily focus on, even if doesnt make sense. Here i think Story, take a backseat to graphics and technology.

It appears to me that the advent of the internet has led to the decline of the Professional Journalist and Reviewers. While in past ages. We, the consumer, can rely on a review of any product. Reviewers, then, seemed to have a certain standard which to review any product. Based upon quality, Enjoyment, Depth, and the competition. what has come before and what is expected.

I thought i read somewhere that you character would keep the stats.... which is easy enough to implement. but what about the choices... living/dying... give enough game/world time between games and adventures... the writers can do whatever they want...

i was impressed with PREY. an fps with a unique story that doesnt have to do with wwII.
i mean its no bioshock, but for 20 bucks, its worth it.

hopefully the fps titles will thin out. I am glad to see that more quality titles of various genres are being published and sold. But there will always be the halos, R6, WWII shooters. now if there would just always be the Bioshocks, then it would be all good.
