Microsoft fail? Sony Wins? Because of Blu-Ray and vista?
Microsoft is pretty good at adaptability, and cutting loses. So Sony says because of the Technology in PS3 its 10 years ahead of its time. That they wont need to release a console except for every decade.
But microsoft, wont hesitate, to release a new console, when they need to. They achieved as much as they could with the original xbox, released the 360, and are ahead of Sony. I think it will be around a year or two long...

No they didnt, this is a repost of the same article. MS said that DD is the future. but they never said that they want either one to fail. I think the original from 2 or 3 weeks ago, (THe pic here had gates looking of blue and red army men.) said that eventually media will be DD, possibly on the next console...

when they say exclusive, they are generally refering to the consoles, and its direct competition. i,e, psp vs ds or ps3vs 360 vswii or pc vs. mac. but that last one really isnt a competition.
And since lionhead is owned by microsoft and 99% of machines use MS. I dont think MS cares.
On the consoles, its an exclusive. it will never appear on ps3 or wii.

interesting, i honestly never considered the sequal aspect. That is a good view point. But after reading the interview with the director, and the inclusion of Bean's character, Maybe it was an after-thought, or 'hey, not only. . . but should this do well . . ." cause it does leave off for a beginning to a sequal. Then what should it be called: Return to Silent Hill. Cause he already went once.

pretty nice faceplate. i havent felt the need to spend money to customize but that is a nice plate. Maybe they will give em away fro pre-orders.

I didnt see much of a difference in graphics compared to Oblivion, but the fighting looks great. Hopefully the controls are solid.
no, thats why they need StangleHold on the wii. take the graphics down, and add dualguan support. And include a toothpick in the Limited Edition.

Now what will we see? Mass Effect? sure. A sonic RPG, video, perhaps. But I have a feeling they will show a treaser video of KOTOR3. Though I am sure this wont come out for a while. Next summer at the earliest, its still never too early to show concept art for a galaxy far away and get nerds salivating.
Bioshock, though is a first person shooter, i dont think is really in the same crowd as Halo3. This looks like to be an entirely different game, similar to what Riddick was, yeah its a FPS. but not in the same vein as HALO 1 or 2.
Also You stated bioshock and Halo3. You are forgetting MASS EFFECT, and ASSASSINS CREED ADN GTA4. Though while these are mulitplatform, they will still be an attach rate to the 360 and lure gamers to buy the cheaper 360.

i think what the movie lacked, to me anyways, was the intimate feel, the game gave. Lights off, sound up, middle of the night. The movie just didnt translate that as well as the game did. The whole Sean Bean storyline, i felt really broke up the tension. I understand the need to appeal to a wider audience, and Sean Bean is a good solid choice. Hopefully the Directors cut, or whatever it is called, will be edited better, like the director wanted.
well they gave flatout 8.9 and overlord 6.5. so i'm assuming its out of ten. It does seem a tad harsh. but i havent played it. perhaps, MS published in UK? while AQ published in US?
who cares... Do you really honestly think devs get the kits when consoles are released? how many times, how long was the ps3 pushed back. The devs had the kits to create games about the same time, they got the 360 ones. Its not like sony withheld the kits longer everytime they pushed back the console release. they had the kits since day one, and each time Sony pushed back the release date, the Developers had the kits that much longer to work on titles. actually he said its a better made machine for games. Need proof. Look at all the games. and the games that look better on 360 than ps3. Its easier to develop games for on the 360, everyone agrees, hences its a better made machine for games
i am not a HUGE FPS fan, i have a couple. PREY I think was the best one so far on 360. RIDDICK i enjoyed a lot better than HALO 1 and 2. So i am definatly gonna pick this up, and the new RIDDICK.
I still buy cds. download it to my hardrive, stream it to my xbox, download it on to my 80g harddrive in my car. And still i listen to my cds. I mean how many people have the original release of wutang forever? or all eyez on me? when he calls out names...? But im a collector. I like to display my cds,book, and dvds, on the walls.
But i am definatly getting into DLing.
