He has a point. I don't usually do PC gaming, but recently invested in a computer and yea it was an expensive entry cost, but it will last quite a bit longer as a gaming rig than a console will. And upgrading is easier and cheaper-you don't need the Newest graphics card to play current games. Also you will be saving $ on software(unless its starcraft 2--but then again it was worth it)-and you are getting way more versatility with a comp.
I've never really had a problem with steam, although can't always download it right away, it generally will remember/queue it up so that when a server is available it will download.
just a comment,
I used to like to play Tony Hawk...but they should have stopped at 2. Theres only so many times you can grind a rail or do tricks before it gets old. I know they did downhill something or other, but come on...its skate boarding...start a new franchise...or bring back skate or die...that was a game I could see a million sequels too...it took your average skateboarding and turned it into something interesting that had character.
Reading way too much into this short quote. All game devs and publishers are in it for the money and they all want a blockbuster game...I think they will still focus on creativity and innovations..but they will be shooting for the top--which in my opinion is nice to hear.
This is awesome especially cause its free for PC. Sorry Xboxians.
the date that the original DS was released. 11/21/2004. So this would be the six year mark. And it came out with a price of $149.99.
They wouldn't miss the opportunity to get in the Christmas/Holiday Madness...most kids cant buy it, but what better way to get it for them then have the parents get it for them. And it will definitely be bundled with a game/extended demo of some sort. Tetris 3D? It would be like Gameboy all over again. I'm gonna guess $200. or $220. I can't see how they could price so much higher than a home console.
I went to visit my parents for an extended vacation, and they do not own an HDTV. So I plug in the PS3 and put in RDR. Lets just say I had NO IDEA WTF was written anywhere on the screen. Its not a small SD TV either. Thankfully a majority of the game is voice based. This is one of the major reason I don't understand why people are so reved up about the Wii not being HD--if 50% of the population doesnt have HD, then whats the point. We arent there yet. I understand that it is a push...
I would have never bought a PS3 to play Tri, but I had a Wii and I took a risk in buying MH. I love it and think it is a great game..but I don't think it would have sold anymore on the PS3 than it did on the Wii. And their revenues were probably better off the Wii because there was not as much of a cost to develop for it.
Though I did buy a PS3 for RDR and if there is ever going to be another MH in NA, I would like to see it either on the 3DS or the PS3.--Though anoth...
There are definitely better and more detailed racing games on the Wii--looks like they had a barrel full of monkeys working on this one. There is not one thing that is interesting about this game...the cars look like shit...the landscapes look like shit...the tracks dont look half bad in structure...but come on...give the team workin on a wii game at least 4 or 5 people....1 or 2 people just doesnt work.
That it has to be some sort of push with Sony(as they are a major player in the push for 3D) its probably blantant for exactly that reason. ooo sony...ooo 3d...ooo saw 3d...all for the correlation.
I have yet to play multiplayer, but I thought single player was great. Its innovative/artistic looks is what drew me in. Its so raw like a shitty b-movie--the blantant disregard for everything around. Destructable cover as well as flimsy cover(ie not everything is an impenetrable wall) The running and shaky camera, no zoom, semi-intelligent AI. I think this game has a lot of potential. Will definitely be picking up the full version.
This game just looks grimey and nas...
...gamers are such haters
Don't they realize that quality matters over quantity. Come one Capcom, build hype, but build a good game. Sending out 100s of crap games doesnt get you anything. Preparing one good game could get you everything(see StarcraftII) You know why fighting games died off for a bit...because of this shit you are trying to pull now. Street Fighter IV Super Turbo Alpha Gamma and a Half. No Body Wants It. Capcom goes in cycles I think..Every 10 years they shit the bed, and realize something,...
He ruined Harry Potter and he ruined PoP...maybe we should get more directors that enjoy games before we put them in their hands...
Also he is only seeing the view of video games from the point of the FPS...I personally dislike unless it offers something substantial to the mix.
...but highly unlikely...
I waited and waited and waited for that game....sooo siked...then the dreams died...then again they might be back...who knows?
I haven't played any Call of Duty game...so eat it Fu*k Nut.
...What I mean by this is that they have taken FPS to a different place. Almost. What I'd like to see is more First Person Shooters...minus the Shooters--Maybe like Mirror's Edge---same realm. Its probably the most immersive genre of game..but we are bombarded by Shooters instead of taking advantage of that immersion.
just a question-I'm not sure they are going to stick with the numbers after BH
