Nintendo should just create and license some sort of HD upscaler for the Wii. It seems like that is the majority of complaints from people--just to smooth out the jaggies. It doesnt bother me much..but there is definitely room for improvement on the Wii--which is nice as well..because when the next ninty console comes out it will really stand out compared to the Wii.
the problem with the game isn't so much glitches..but the stuttering..stalling...freezin g...resetting...game shut downs..etc...those are the problems I would like to see resolved. Probably one of the most frustrating games I've played in a while because of this.
Only worthwhile games are Assassins Creed and Deadspace2---but deadspace doesnt come out till next year.
Id blame it on timing mostly...you have a new IP...multiplatform up against Castlevania...multiplatform... and basically similar mechanics...I am going to pick it up at some point..just havent yet...maybe its just a sleeper...But the following month of release you have fallout NV and Kirby's epic yarn...it was bound to lose some heat just because of the close releases of developed and well known IPs.

I got the PS3 version and the game seems pretty sharp but it occasionally stutters which is a real turn off but...id rather sit in a comfortable chair and a huge TV with a ps3 controller...than in front of my PC in a non so comfortable chair and have to use the keyboard and mouse.
--Especially for this game that is going to eat up plenty of time.

Any handheld that is priced similar to a home console is bound to not sell well...even 3DS if it sells for 250+ will struggle in the US....its really just not worth it...i can wait a year or two for a price drop.

Looks like a promising new IP platformer with some potential with interesting landscape mechanics.
I think this is probably equal if not better than goldeneye..and theres no way I'm buying into goldeneye with activision behind it...f kotick and is evil ways.
How does this stuff get published?
I've read a couple of articles from developers--and apparently there really isn't lag at all with Kinect, though they program the lag in so that people can play the games---if it was direct player response most games would become almost impossible--and I'm guessing thats what they will do with harder difficulties...just decrease the lag.

NINTENDO please stop just replacing the shell and add some new features to the Wii...people have been asking for it for years...and you still just toss them to the wind...a white Wii will do the same thing as a black Wii as well as a red Wii....you are killing your audience with you deaf ears and half assed reactions. There are some hopefully great games coming out..but please jump on the band wagon and announce an update to the hardware or at least make the thing smaller.
I can't believe you people finished the game already...christ. I understand you want to play the game..but give it a few days. As for DLC..I wish they would wait like a few months until not only early adopters pick up the game and finish it. And I hate how they announce it 2 days after the game comes out. Bunch of BS.
Nintendo should give the Wii an update already---if they want to keep it going for a while--like sony and M$--they should just revise the hardware a little bit...add some more power...some additional functions...and it will open up for some more options--maybe even full multiplatform games ps3/xbox/wii. but the way that this information is stated--it looks like it will be more of a software push than a hardware push--sad to say...

The reason that most games don't have multiplayer is because 1) they don't necesitate online multiplayer and 2) 3rd party games that require it develop software that supports it--monster hunter tri...conduit...MW.
But I resort to my #1) bullet....most games on the Wii do not necessitate multiplayer gameplay--Nintendo is known for pick up and play gaming systems...not pickup and wait...update...start game...load...start multiplayer.....
But you also have to think again at the N3DS capability in 3D terms---it is rendering each of these high quality images twice---so technically--if a dev decided to disregard the 3d function and just create a straigt up game---might beable to max it out enough to look quite a bit better than these....
And another thing---when in motion on a small screen---these jaggies won't be particularly noticable.
love the magazine and all..but I think they are doing this because they don't seem to have much to write about lately..it all seems like repeat stories...and extended articles for games/topics that don't really deserve it..but I wouldnt mind taking a look to the past..especially with nintendo
Well I'm glad to hear it from Capcom. Would love for MH3P and the revised PSP to show up here at some point.
But also wouldn't mind if they held off for a PS3 or 3DS MH.
