MP5k looks like one of the best guns in the game if the stats are correct. Hope the recoil isn't crazy like in MW 2's MP5k.

I'm sure it isn't too good of a game, but if you ever go on a Destructoid review and see that Jim Sterling wrote the given review you shouldn't be too fussed about what he thinks, because he seems to hate everything.
I take them merely as a guide: For example, If a game got 6 or less as an average (eg, Metascore from Matacritic.com), and got mostly average, not mixed reviews, I'd pass it up, but if a game got, say, 7, as an average score, I'd certainly at least look into the game, and if it really interested me I'd give it a go.
It's this way I've found games that I would give 9's or 10's, but they still got not so great review scores.

I'm worried on the developers behalf on the graphics front- reviewers have very high standards in that regard, and this is, visually, Fallout 3. I hope they foresee this and view the game for what it has going for it:Everything bar amazing graphics!
I know the graphics won't worry me what so ever, and it's almost guaranteed that this will hours and hours of sublime content. Can't wait for the 22nd October (where it releases here in Ireland)!!!

Absoloutely right, Enkei- It seems to be ticking all the right boxes, how can it go wrong? For me, it's the whole customization "make it your own" element that is setting my hype-ometer to 11.

When you hear the word "shooter", by default it also means "Not funny. Actually, quite depressing!" . Humor isn't really that often found in games for some reason, I don't know why.
The one game that has actually made me properly laugh out loud has to be Fallout games. Very black humored, but some of it is truly hilarious! (anyone who played a Fallout will get me, especially Fallout 2!)

If this gets properly good reviews (as in 90+ average) I might be reconsidering my purchase of CoD:BO . I find it somewhat unlikely though. I personally would rather have BC 2 and a CoD game rather than some mish-mosh in between! That's not to say it looks bad, by any capacity, quite the opposite if I'm honest!
Shame there's no actual collectors edition, with steel book case or some cool extra stuff: This "Tier 1" thing is only in-game additions.

The design is a bit tacky in my opinion, they design them from real weapons. Very plasticky looking, but maybe it's just the picture... Still, really cool feature for Move, though!
NAZI zombies? Am I the only one who thinks that was a silly decision, not to call them something a bit more time-related, like Vietcong zombies? Perhaps it would be too controversial? I don't know. Cold War/Vietnam era with Nazi zombies? Please tell me it's a typo!

This game has clearly taken it's design cues from an older, darker Disney. It doesn't look too kiddie friendly!

My bet is that BO will tip the 5 million in it's first week. It's not like CoD will get any less popular than it currently is, and it seemed a lot of people were oblivious to MW 2's game-breaking problems, which there were plenty of.
It's weird though, as much as I didn't like MW 2 for all it's shortcomings, there is something about CoD games that just scream "You know you want to buy me" at you, even if you know you will regret it later dow...
