Well I really wouldn't mind if Microsoft has already made money out of me, although thinking about it, if I sell my X1 to a friend well he hasn't gone out and bought a brand new X1 so Microsoft didn't get any more money. My friend would obviously buy games so Microsoft makes cash there but they wont be making money from me.
I'm buying an X1 because there's no other console with Kinect as standard.
If Microsoft change their policies in a way that I really don't like I will sell my X1 and get something else.
Pretty simple really.

I don't understand why there shouldn't be ads just because you pay for Xbox Live £30 a year. Sky Tv cost up to £80 a month and there's still never ending adverts.
The companies are there to make money so I'm ok with it. The 360 ads on the dashboard don't ever play sound unless you hover over them or play them, i think they are done in a sensible way.
Sony will be putting ads in game, my take on that is if Microsoft was first...
I loved the original Kinect, I thought it worked great on sum games and added a lot. Golf was so much more fun playing like a real game of golf rather than using a pad. I really enjoyed Table Tennis and bowls too.
I don't understand all the hate for Kinect.
Certain games are obviously better with a controller but others are better with kinect.
This time kinect will be used a lot more along side a controller which could be a good thing.
Microsoft has been criticised hugely on N4G about adverts on the dashboard even tho it never bothered me one bit.
I hope Sony is going to get the exact same bashing, or is this going to turn into, its now perfectly fine too pay for online.
Once Sony starts doing ads on the dashboard it will be perfectly fine to have advert you just watch.
GQ gave the X1 8 - 10 the ps4 7 - 10.

GQ thinks the X1 is the better console exactly like I do. Others will think differently and that's fine.
Try a Nokia Lumia 520, it absolutely kills any budget Android phone.

X1 for me, I the opposite too most ppl on this site, I WANT Kinect, I had great fun with the first one and really enjoyed some of the games.
