I've played Skyrim today at Eurogamer Expo.
It was the demo shown online. It's hardly a representation of the entire game. So yeah, this author doesn't know what he's talking about.
When he meant fighter I think he meant action game type not the arcade Street Fighter Dead or Alive type.
Well you wouldn't be able to understand some events at the start of Kingdom Hearts 2 without playing Chain of Memories.

I'm not sure about there being fewer cutscenes. Cutscenes are cutscenes, whether they are played like a video or rendered real-time. The entirety of MGS4's cutscenes were real-time and the entirety of Uncharted 2's cutscenes were pre-rendered. But both looked fantastic.
So Square felt they can now put the cutscenes as game script rather than as video files if the difference of production quality is hardly anything. And it saves space.
I doubt Versus will see a release in Japan before end of next year. So yeah 2013 does seem likely.
Hmm, this is actually VERY interesting.
If it's true that now all cutscenes are real-time instead of the usual pre-rendered cutscenes we saw in FF13, this is actually a significant step in videogame design for Square-Enix.
Mainly, because the cutscenes we've seen in trailers look really great. I mean, there's hardly any difference between the real-time cutscenes of FF13-2 and the pre-rendered cutscenes of FF13.

We hardly got any good launch titles and so far the only good game on the 3DS is Ocarina of Time 3D.

Super Widescreen reminds me of watching a movie. And since the cutscenes in MGS have always been movie-like I will choose that option.

If for example, you are playing Peace Walker on your PS3 and are going on holiday the next day, you can just take your psp with the exact game save and carry on while you're away.
Birth By Sleep Volume 2 was hinted however I can't seem to see how it would work.
I mean, Terra is trapped in Xehanort. Ventus is in Sora but became Roxas and is now back in Sora. Aqua, if I remember correctly, is trapped in the Realm of Darkness.
But then again the secret ending of BBS showed Aqua in the Realm of Darkness and the FM version had a playable level and boss for Aqua in there.
Perhaps BBS V2 will be set in the Realm of Darkne...

Firstly, LESS FOCUS ON TPS AND MORE ON HORROR.
Secondly, no focus on co-op or multiplayer. Put all resources into a pure scary and thrilling Resident Evil experience with horror levels similar to RE1 and RE2. I don't mind if it continues with RE4's third person perspective but it needs the RE1&2 style horror.
