FF13 battle combat system was terrible. I wouldn't put myself in the category of blind hater since I played over 25 hours of it.
There is simply hardly any tactical skill in the system. It's more about timings. I remember when fighting that Fal'Cie who posed as the human leader of Cocoon, I died mainly because the paradigms didn't switch over in time after I changed.

The reason why Kojima wanted it to stay exclusive to PS3 was due to a pure development decision, nothing to do with personal console preference or fanboyism. The MGS4 engine was created specifically to handle the PS3's hardware architecture. The engine was simply impossible to be implemented on any other console.
If the MGS4 engine was a multiplatform engine, it would be very likely that MGS4 would have been on 360 by now.

I don't mind realistic look or the Nomura style from the PS1/PS2 days. As long as there's variety between the titles, I'm okay.

The problem here is that the screenshots are comparing Uncharted 2's multiplayer to Uncharted 3's multiplayer. And U3's MP models look a lot worse apparently.
Perhaps ND could fix this in an update? So the models are only downgraded when 3D is on.

To be honest, I have a Wii and not that Colours wasn't a good game, I just didn't like it. It was too different from the old style Sonic games I used to play on Mega Drive and Dreamcast.

ash_divine, I agree. Autobattle was the worst addition S-E did. The pacing should never have been fast in the first place. I enjoyed SNES/PS1 era pacing perfectly fine.
If you do want to use individual commands you need to manually go into settings and change the speed of battles to slow mode. But when you do, battles could last like 5 times longer and then trying to stagger an enemy is as slow as watching grass grow.
