For me, the best jRPG this gen hands down was Xenoblade.

As a huge fan of the AC franchise, I agree with the above that AC3 was very boring.
I slightly disagree with ACR. Ezio is always a great character to watch.
That said, from what I've seen so far, AC4 looks to have an exciting story. Mainly because they aren't so constrained to a specifically defined history. The AC team have more room to work their magic this time round. Also, pirates!

It actually causes no problems for pirating because once a guy cracks the DRM, the millions that torrent it after can install with ease with nothing stopping them.

MGS3 regeneration wasn't instant. It took a very long time to get back all your health.
Well stuff like regenerating health and whatnot isn't too much of a change.
The biggest criticism is the Alert slow-mo. It takes away the tension and consequences of getting caught. It's what made stealth in Metal Gear so genuine.
Also, I watched the english version of the Ground Zeroes trailer. Keifer was terrible. Completely messed up the 'kept you waiting, huh' quote.
Very good news. His work was great in MGS3 and MGS4.
