nub_cakes101, I feel your pain man. I just recently finished.
That impaling scene was the worst cutscene in the game for me. I was honestly expecting a much better and epic sequence when Satan arrives. But it was so bad. That random summoning of Leviathan. The fact you don't even get to fight Satan himself and the final boss is a possessed Alucard.
Not to mention, the game doesn't even resolve the character plot lines. Draclua and Alucard are just st...
Just finished LOS2, the ending is just terrible.
It's clear that towards the end of development they rushed the last few hours of the game. From when you see the third acolyte till the final boss and the anti-climactic final scene with Satan was just annoying. And the final minute cutscene was clearly done that way to pave the way for DLC.
A huge disappointment (story-wise). Combat was still amazing and excellent though. Modern areas level design were lam...
I think it's because PC version has much higher resolution textures than 360 version. Also, the 50gb is probably completely uncompressed whereas the 7.8 gb 360 game has been compressed.
But I still can't understand how a multiplayer shooter can come to 50gb. I mean it's larger than BF3 which was a much bigger and better looking game.
Presentation, music, combat and gameplay is amazing (apart from stealth urgh).
The level design in the modern part is lame though. I wish the majority of this game took place in Dracula's Castle rather than in the modern city.
True, that's how most tournemants are like but SSB is an exception. The characters are very unbalanced by themselves. There are OP match-ups where no matter how much more skilled you are, you're very likely going to lose.
Items are what balance this. Like Dravidian said above, throwing/using items is a skill itself. Most aren't OP and most require timing and thinking ahead before using them. Also, items can be knocked out of a player anyway so it's not like th...
I don't mind QTE, they work well in cutscenes or finishing boss fights. Witcher 2 used them well imo.
Of course, I hate QTE that are integrated into the general gameplay.
Disagree, items are what makes SSB unique from all other fighters and have existed since the first game on N64
Does this basically mean that Sakurai is trying to level the playing field between each character.
One of the most annoying things about the last 3 games is that in tournaments, items are off, and the game becomes extremely unbalanced.
If this means that balance for each fighter is tweaked to prevent OP match-ups then I'm good.
Agreed. We had that for MGS4, no reason we shouldn't for MGS5.
Kinda ironic, considering the title of this game
Very interesting score. This game has been getting very polarized reviews.
Loved the original, definitely playing the sequel.
Does every article title for Deep Down need to begin with 'PS4 exclusive.'
It's getting very cringeworthy now. And I'm a PS4 owner too.
Completely agree. There is parkour for crying out loud. In COD you have to climb stairs to reach a higher level - not wall-run sides of buildings!
As for bots, well I dunno. I mostly ignore them. They aren't harmless nor a significant theat. They don't make much difference and fortunately they don't add to your kill score.
And not to mention, the titans completely change the way the battle flows. The only real similarity between Titanfall and COD ...
It kinda is when the game is 2 hours long.
But then again I'm guilty of the same crime since I've already preordered Ground Zeroes on PS4.
It definitely has the same fast pace as COD but the gameplay is far from simply a COD clone.
Guns are different like you have the smart pistol. There is also parkour. A huge emphasis on running about the map in 3 dimensions.
Also, piloting a Titan makes it very different to COD. And the 2 maps I played are more similar to Battlefield than Call of Duty.
Yeah, Last Titan Standing is truly awesome.
It's the mode that absolutely requires teamwork and planning to win. In other game modes you have clash head on without thinking twice.
But in this mode, you have to observe the terrain, find a way to flank the enemy in time and hide behind corners patiently waiting for the right moment to spring out.
One tactic I saw people do was leave their titan at the far end of a map, and attack enemy tita...
I wonder how much those bottled fairies will heal. I doubt it will bring it down to 0%. Those heart containers took away 100 of total percentage. If bottled fairies appear often, then it would mean that heart containers will appear even less often.
I guess the real question is whether Capcom made a profit or loss, and if it was a profit, was it significant enough?
Please Capcom, go back to back to original DMC series. Let DmC be buried in history and start anew.
Only 1.4 million sales as of December 2013. Learn from this lesson, Capcom.
wtf? There was virtually no character customization in DA2 in your party. You could only level up some skills but weapons were locked.
