obvious troll is obvious
They mean lulzSec, right?
I don't think Foxtrot read it before porkChop asked him.
I see. I knew elves were persecuted and treated badly but I didn't play as a woman. My opinion was how the male NPCs treated other female NPCs and I didn't notice much.
Or maybe I just don't remember.
Wasn't DA:O gender neutral too. I mean, unlike the Witcher, women weren't treated too badly.
And in DA2, like half of the main characters were female. Felt like I did the right choice by choosing a female Hawke.
A strong character is only strong because of the effort the creator put in to develop and build the character.
It shouldn't matter if the gender is male or female. Of course there are people who use "token" female comrade archetype. There's also the muscle-dude archetype and the olive-skinned lightly-shaven Caucasian archetype.
Though I think Dragon Age 2 is an example of well-made female characters and not characters that are female for the...
Oh dear, Lukas...
AC Unity definitely needs to be as ground breaking as AC2 was. A wholly evolved formula. I see that the control design is supposed to be different with the whole "parkour up" and "parkour down" keys.
AND it needs a much more focus on ASSASSINATION. More in-depth social stealth gameplay or new imaginative ideas to stalk or execute targets.
It can't just be more crowds and more weapons. It needs to be a wholly new product.
I wish they'd make it a biyearly release instead.
But then when you think about it, the only games that took 1 year to develop was ACB and ACR.
The rest just had different teams working on them. AC3 took 3 years. AC4 took 2 and a half years. ACU has reportedly been in development for over 3 years already.
But still, having to lighten your wallet every year for this franchise can be a bit too much.
Dragon Age Origins had like 40 different endings.
By "different" they don't mean 40 entirely different outcomes. But different combinations.
In terms of outcomes, DA:O had like 8 endings.
I think I'll probably miss this one.
Or get it cheap on PS4. Unity is more what I'm interested in.
Love this track. Can't wait for the full game though.
"all you had to do was blend, roll off the blend button, stab, and roll back on and blend away"
LOL. I remember that. Back then, that style of social stealth was considered ground-breaking for games. It's amazing how much time passes and how many things evolve and innovate.
Agreed, AC was originally supposed to be an anthology series (though you can argue it still is).
Unlike the usual annual COD release, AC brings something brand new almost every year. First Middle East, then Italian Renaissance, Ottoman Constantinople, Colonial America and Caribbean and seas. Now it's back to Europe for Revolutionary France.
You can say the gameplay changed significantly from AC2 to AC4. My only hope for ACU is that they'll utilize nex...
The author doesn't understand is that Ubisoft has multiple studios working on the AC franchise.
While AC3 came out only a year after Revelations, it was in development for about 3 years prior to its release. Though I won't defend the gameplay itself which seemed to be the result of a development nightmare. I think a whole year and half was dedicated to making the new Engine.
And AC4 took 2 and a half years to develop prior to its release. Fortunately ...
I think it's likelier 4 voices rather than 16. The amount of recording and time and GB for 16 would be ridiculous.
Still, I think it's great we can choose between 2 voices for each gender. More variety in a Dragon Age game is for the better.
I lol'd at the timeline talking about Gitmo.
Camp Omega is obviously a fictional version of Camp Delta.
I just hope this game won't be another victim to Ubisoft's Downgradegate.
Was hoping they'd stay away from the West for a while but another Western setting.
Was hoping Egypt or China.
Sigh, if you want more sex. Get a girlfriend or a wife.
