To be honest, I'm kind of tired of people wondering how large the map is.
Personally, I prefer density over mass space. If the world of FF15 is just one empty space then I'd be disappointed. Part of what made FF jrpgs magical where its towns and dungeons. The world map was usually just the moody interim before you reach the next location.
Not that I want an open-world map. Of course, I'd love open world wilderness, but it's just I see that too...
As far as I remember, towns/cities will require loading screens. But the wilderness is generally open. I guess it'll have seamless loading like in most modern sandbox games.
We've seen a lot of the open-world aspect now. I kinda wanna see how interior levels and dungeons will look like.
So I guess, you mean to say that there's a pattern.
That since Unity was lame, Victory should be awesome?
Personally, I wish they continued the Prince of Persia reboot from 2008.
Summons, I don't think you understand.
What takes up the most amount of space is graphics, audio and animation. Since this is a sample of the final game, and we can see the graphics, audio and animations are insanely good in this game. The demo is likely coming with a huge chunk of the full game's graphics & audio, and probably the majority of the animations.
5gb is actually fairly good. The full game will very likely be more than 50gb and require...
Yeh I don't really understand why Sony fans are losing their minds over thiss. This was truly to be expected. All the footage we saw leading to its release have had very bland gameplay. What was amazing was its graphics fidelity and atmosphere. The gameplay just seemed very standard.
The PS4 exclusive that will get great reviews for its gameplay will be Bloodborne. There is no giant conspiracy to hate on the Order. I knew it was going to be have average scores from the be...
It's almost certain that it'll come to PS4/X1. It's not the first time an arcade game released exclusively only for a console release to come out later.
There's no story mode in this arcade version. Most likely, S-E will be developing a proper campaign for during and after the arcade version launches.
Sigh... it does seem like that's a possible release date.
I hope it isn't though. Really want to play FF15 this year.
Well, what's confirmed is that a game called The Last Guardian is no longer being developed.
Perhaps the project changed into something else or perhaps it got cancelled? We don't know.
But if Sony didn't bother renewing the trademark, then clearly it's because they don't need it anymore.
Edit: Or... not? Just saw that IGN 2012 article where the exact same thing happened. That the trademark was "abandoned." I gue...
Very much doubt he's returning. It's just a picture. Not to mention, how old would Solid be anyway? Teenager? Younger? He can't voice a child.
Let's just hope it's much different to both of them.
Multiple studios does not automatically equate to better creativity or performance. All it means is that less stress for a single employee since jobs are spread out across more manpower.
This applies especially with studios like Ubisoft that are more corporate than other studios (like Valve for example).
Why Ubisoft needs to go back to the biannual release schedule is due to two major things:
1) More time for creativity: Since each game is getting mor...
So... I wonder if this is single player DLC.
And if it is, will it continue the story or take place in between? Or be somewhat unrelated like Mark of the Assassin?
Yes!
This kickstarter seems so fraudulent lol. No evidence of any work done so far. Using the Fox Engine? For PS4? Clearly taking people for a ride here.
hmm, I actually had 2 attempts at Persona 3. My first playthrough lasted around 10 hours. I gave it up, but started again and reached around 30 hours.
I guess it's perhaps I grew up with jrpgs like Final Fantasy. Person is just a bit too different for my tastes.
Yeah, the Persona management/hunting/acquisition is definitely a major part of the game. I agree, it's quite vast with a huge number of variations. But because battles were pretty straightfor...
I played the first Persona. After 1-2 hours, couldn't get into it. The 1st person dungeon crawling wasn't a great idea. Not sure why they didn't change this in the PSP version.
I played over 30 hours of Persona 2. It was okay, I guess. Never got to finish it. The gameplay was okay. Standard turn-based gameplay with dungeons to crawl. Story was kind of bland too. Not much happens until something does happen. And when it does, it's just a 5-10 min cutscene with ...
the original Xenoblade had bad faces too, but I guess the crappy graphics kinda shrouded it. So it didn't bother me so much.
Uhh, DAI a has ton of fetch quests...
But it was dense in the sense you mention - interesting.
That is inherently what I mean. I don't just want to pass by and gaze at visuals. I want stuff happening that sets the mood or adds to the world.
My current view is post-Dragon Age Inquisition. I was very disappointed how all the regions were virtually the same; open and empty with different graphics and just full fetch-quests.
