Origins isn't a linear RPG at all. You can do most of the main missions in any order.
Sure it has labyrinthine dungeons for most of its level design but ironically, it has more explorable cities/towns than Inquisition.
Inquisition is practically just wide open space with many things scattered around.
Dragon Age 2 is the locked-in corridor game where you're guided like sheep.
Spent over 60 hours on the game, most of it were side quests.
I spent over 60 hours on Dragon Age: Origins, yet most of it was main story missions.
That's the difference between the two games. Origins had an amazing grand story that itself takes at least 50 hours to complete.
Inquisition is by no means a bad game. It's just not really a Dragon Age game. It was made for people who like questing. A true sequel to Origins - was what I w...
Agreed. Felt like an MMO game with Dragon Age stamped on.
A great piece of news that came out of this is that Tabata is interested in making it Dual Audio.
The english dub just doesn't sound great. FF13, a game I detest, had much better english voice acting.
not sure if it's flailing. More like pointing in Noctis' direction.
Remember though, for much of its development, it had Nomura in charge, and the delays were because he did not want it rushed out like the other FF13 games were.
This should finally be the Final Fantasy game we've been waiting for since FFX.
Seriously? Link pls >.<
You have no idea how such news would make my day!
I also hope for dual audio...
Hopefully a release date can finally be announced. If the demo is coming out early next year, then the full game should be finished soon...
As much as I'd like to see the next GTA set in London, one can never get tired of Rockstar North taking the piss out of American culture.
I think Rockstar already confirmed they will not be taking characters from the 3D era and using them in the HD era.
Yes, there are 3 universes in GTA.
2D universe (GTA1, London(s), GTA2)
3D universe (GTA3, VC, SA)
HD universe (GTA4 + DLC, GTA5)
+1 bubble.
Voices were cringeworthy... Really hope they include an option to switch audio languages.
Uhh not sure if you're joking, but I remember a few years back they had announced that the world of FF13 was the same as FF7 but set like thousands of years in the future or past lol
Destroyed? Have you seen the insane amount of sales that moe harem romcom DVDs/BDs get in Japan?
I do wonder if this was really a direct response to the downgradegate that began last Friday. Cd Projekt is definitely keeping their lips tightly sealed regarding that issue. They only spoke of youtube compression when fans were very obviously referring to actual low-res and low-polygon stuff.
Since the first delay was supposedly to fix all the bugs, this second delay is more suspicious.
But if you watch the gamesyde trailer which isn't compressed, you still notice the blurry textures, lack of polygons and general absurdities.
The issue of Witcher 3 downgrade started from E3 not just this VGA trailer. This recent trailer only made the issue much more obvious. What's saddenning for me is that cdprojekt know this and refuse to clarify. If they could just either tell if that was the console version or that the PC version really did get downgraded, the is...
Currently playing through it and reached 50-60 hours and I have to agree.
Most of it is side quests which are definitely enjoyable. It's just I wish the main story was just as long. I remember how amazing Dragon Age: Origins was and how I spent 50 hours on the main story itself.
rofl
@Aloren, that's false mate. The main missions of DA:O are definitely over 50 hours. I know, because I made it a habit of skipping side-quests because of how long the game was.
If you don't believe me, check out howlongtobeat.com and you'll see.
@Maxor:
"What we have here is a linear gamer. People who doesn't like options or exploring in their RPGs."
^
You can't claim that Inquisition has more "options...
