I doubt God of War 3 will sell more than Gears of War 2. More casual Sony owners have heard of Gears of War but not God of War.

seriously guys. Are you going to switch on your PS3 just to go on HOME.
Its one of those nice features on your console that you would like it at the beginning then just forget about it.
To be honest, when wanting to download a movie or demos or arcade games i'd rather just select it than travel to it. I wouldn't mind a 360 version of HOME.
I'd rather play real games then play HOME.
I think it is too obvious now that there will be a Gears 2.
I think they want to announce it in a short period before release to prevent gamers from forgetting about it and buy other games. That sort of strategy.
Anyway, I hope it has a lot of improvements especially in Online play.
I hated the fact there were too many shotgun noobs who simply run to you and instant kills you with a shotgun. Takes away the fun out of the game.

Ninja Gaiden is different. Its more about combos and extremely fast paced action.
They are similar. When I feel like some gothic demonic stylish ass kicking I'd playt DMC4
But when I feel for a challenging fast paced blood splattering then I'd play Ninja Gaiden 2.
8.8 = Good score. But I preordered the game ages ago anyway.
If the PS3 were to look like that it would be a big improvement from the "grill" big shape it used to be.

@POG: I understand Sony but GS is considered to be a reliable source. If you consider IGN and GS as not reliable sources then I doubt there would be any reliable sources (according to your rules) on the net.
But anyway, I think 2008 will determine the leader of this new gen.
Last Gen the Xbox lagged a bit behind under the PS2. Who's to say that the PS3 may just be a little behind or even at side with 360.
Only time will tell.
@crmbe: That's the irony behind it. People are thinking that the Wii is a fad and won't last long to lack of worth-the-price (even if cheap) games. So, "it's better to sell slowly for a long time than to sell a lot for a short time than die out."
Only the future will tell if the Wii really succeeded or not.
I would say that this result is almost entirely due to the fanbase of the successful PS2. Without the PS2's grand success, the PS3 would be seriously struggling by now.
The sales is due to the ridiculously over-large Sony fanbase in Europe waiting for its price to fall down.
Because of the price, delay and not having improved graphics than the 360, a chunk of the Sony fans "defected" to 360 or Wii.
You know, if Sony had launched its PS3 with a cheaper price then the PS3 would be this new gen's dominator.
Shows you how important "price" is in the gaming industry.

@ar: Yes, ironically and surprisingly, we are united (Except Mr PS3). Fanboyism has plagued gaming sites and hopefully the "Open Zone concept" will cure this contagious disease.
I just turned 17 and I can see myself in the future spending less time gaming but I won't stop. If i get a job and get married and have children, I know there'd be hardly any time for gaming.
