9.3 is a very good score. I'm surprised it didn't get better than its predecessors. IGN complains about uneven story. I hope that's BS because I have very high expectations from it's story.
Although 9.3 is a great score, I seriously doubt Bayonetta is a better game.

Back on topic: Man, I am shocked to see an FF title getting lower than 9.0. Although 8/10 is a good score, it's still lower than S-E's high standards. They should have kept the old traditional menu&command turn-based system.

I was not expecting that. While an 8.3 isn't a bad score, I was expecting an FF game to get at least get 9.0.
Rowsdower, how about someone who buys the game and uses the crack so he can play his games offline?
I understand your opinion about piracy but I think the crack is good for people who bought the game and don't want DRM issues.
Also remember, DRM is really only effective against people who purchase the game preowned since we all know hackers will find a way to crack it.

As much as I'd like to agree with you there, I loved the old battle system so much since FF7. I've kinda grown up with traditional final fantasy. It would please me greatly if they just stick to its origins.
But yeah, they need to move forward to cater this new generation of idiots. A lot of new gamers don't like the old FF games due to the nature of the menu&comm...
