This article is referring to the currently released flashcarts for the DS.
We will have to wait a couple of months to see if Nintendo has implemented a worthy security or not.
Well, the discussion isn't about the legality of it but the morals of it. Those copyright laws were designed for the benefit of copyright owners and not for the benefit of consumers.
The whole point he is making is that what he does with his product is up to him and not up to the seller.
The seller shouldn't be the ones who decide if what you're doing is permissible or not.
Sony have the right to make patches etc to safeguard the ps3 but they have no right to tell you what to do with it.
lol, so I put T&C on a milk carton saying you are only permitted to drink 1 glass a day and not allowed to use it in a milkshake, I should go return the milk carton to the shop?
The bank example was so illogical it hurt to read.
The bank is holding your money. You aren't holding a PS3. You bought it.
The day when fanboy tools wake up and realise how they are getting used will be as significant as the revolution in the Arab world.
Irony, no?
From what I can see through his comments, "NO! YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO BUY AND NOT MODIFY!! BECAUSE WE NEED TO MAKE MONEY OF YOU!! HURR!!"
No matter how they disguise their agendas with "holier than thou" rhetoric, it's the same greedy motives for money and more money.
No, they both need a remake.
FFVI for 3DS
FFVII for PS3
LMAO. Meerkat, It feels like you are trying to disguise your mistake as an attempted joke.
And did you know? The internet is serious business =P
haha, I know how you feel.
This looks pretty promising. Hopefully, Bethesda will fix all of Oblivion's flaws in this one.
lol Meerkat fail.
When gravemaker said "western" he meant western developers not the movie genre.
And RDR isn't an RPG /facepalm
BBS was the best in the series in terms of gameplay.
lol, Redempteur, I admit it does look like a decent game.
My guess it's due to its marketing style.
He didn't steal anything, idiot. That's why I said you have no idea about these matters.
I'm done here.
lol at below, looks like you are too.
Thank you for proving you lack a brain to even understand the point I was making.
The decent thing to do would be to take the hacker to court like with geohot instead of raiding his house early in the morning without him knowing. He's a normal guy. He's hardly even released anything major. Most likely, they found details of his whereabouts through geohot's computers since they did communicate together.
Sony has no right to harass individuals like ...
I hope I can play the Interlude and After Years without having to play FFIV since I've already finished that.
A tweet from another hacker is pretty hilarious.

No only you'd be "ignorant" to think they simply went and paid police.
Hire some the best and most expensive lawyers who have good connections and your sorted.
This is pretty much how it is everywhere in the world. Stop living in a fanboy bubble and wake up.
If you think I'm making up a fantasy why don't you read about News of the World phone hacking incident its links with the Metropolitan Police.
I agree. Making the 3DS region locked was a very dumb move by Nintendo. That's just forcing people to get flashcarts as there are many Japanese games that never make it to the West.
