that developers have only been using one of the 360's processors. It will also continue to produce better games as well. So as gamers we will all be getting better games in the future on both the Ps3 and the 360.
the new 80 gig isn't the same as te old 80 gig unit it is the current 40 gig unit with an 80 gig harddrive it doesn't have backwards camptability
Wireless controllers its the same unit as the except it doesn't have a hdd and most people could careless about wifi if you try to game through Wifi your asking for lag as you cut the speed on your connection down dramatically

the only Difference betweent the pro and the arcade is the hdd which can be added later you can't put the hardware componenets missing form the 399 Ps3 back in later that the 599 Ps3 has that is why they call it a gimped version
If Sony wants average people to buy Blu-Ray they beter get their players and discs down to a reasonalbe price considering the cost of of an upsacaling dvd player is about 1/3 of the cost of a Blu-Ray player and dvds are about 1/2 the cost of Blu-ray discs
Go better if they lowered the price of blu Ray players to 200 and below

But a friend of mine converted from Hardcore Pc gamer to Hardcore 360 gamer. He was addicted to games like Tribes 2 up to games like Battlefield 2142 also Rts games. But once i got him to try Gears and xbox live gaming he had to have one. His power supply failed on his PC gaming Rigg about 1 year ago and he has yet to fix it. Gamebattles with clan setups for cod4,gears, halo and all the other games they support have changed the way he thinks about gaming.
screwed microsft when they refused to produce the gpu that the Xbox was using that is why they stop producing them so early actually the Xbox was selling decently at the 150.00 price tag and alot of the games that were coming out were really good
But from there anouncement crytec is going to start developing games for consoles they said that hey are tired of all the pirating on pc
won't do me any good as one of the main reasons i would buy one is to replace my ps2 but since the 400 unit is not backwords compatable it is still down to where i would be paying 400 dollars to be able to play 1 or 2 games not going to happen
the real ps3 costs 600 dollars

i'll wait till some of the stand alone Blueray units drop down in price to watch Blueray
should definetly look into this also buy out Epic,Take Two,Ubisoft,Crytek

The Ps3 is over priced 600 dollars is way to much to mostly watch Blue ray as the only game that really looks interesting to me is Killzone 2 and i will not buy a system for 1 or 2 games when i can get most of whats coming out on my 360
cut scenes could cut down on the action in the game also this way they can fit more gameplay on the discs less wasted space more gameplay is always a good thing
